       This booklet contains information on funding most commonly
       applied for by Manukau Institute of Technology students for full-
       time programmes (very few grants are available for part-time
       courses).

       Please read the information on each of the grants carefully so that
       you are aware of who you need to contact in order to apply for the
       grant or scholarship.

       This booklet can be downloaded from the MIT website:

                                Course criteria
                                To be eligible for fees-free, a course must
                                be:

                                    funded by the Tertiary Education
                                     Commission (the TEC)
                                  recognised by either the New Zealand
                                     Qualifications Authority (NZQA) or
                                     Universities New Zealand, and
                                  at Level 3 or above on the New
                                     Zealand Qualifications Framework
                                     (NZQF).
