WELCOME We are excited to have our doors open and welcome the community into our buildings. We have adjusted
available services, reduced capacity, and launched new policies and procedures to ensure the safety of you and our staff.

BEFORE VISITING THE YMCA We have pulled together some helpful information about what to expect, what to bring,
and how you can help to keep us all safe.
Stay Home if You’re Sick: Members should stay home if not feeling well. The CDC and public health officials encourage seniors
and members of vulnerable populations, including those with underlying health conditions, to continue to stay home.
Keep Your Distance: Exercise on designated equipment only and respect all signs regarding social distancing. Stay at least six
feet away from others wherever possible.
Expect Reduced Capacity: To ensure proper social distancing, our facility will have a limited capacity. At times of full capacity
you will be asked to wait in a designated area until space is available.
Wipe Down Equipment: Help us reduce the risk of exposure by wiping down all equipment, weights, mats, etc. with the
provided cleaning materials.
Bring These Items: Please bring a face mask, your membership ID, a water bottle and a towel from home.
Welcoming Our Youth: Members age 13 and younger are welcome and must be under direct supervision of an adult member
age 19+ at all times. Or, youth age 13 and younger must be enrolled in a program and under direct supervision of staff.
Helping You Stay Connected We continue to evaluate and review our guidelines based on local, state and national health
guidelines and recommendations. Information is subject to change and will be updated on our Facebook page and website.

NUTRITION PROGRAMS AT THE Y
Karrie Benda is a Registered Dietician who has her bachelors and master’s degrees in Nutrition and Health Promotion from UW-Stevens Point
and completed her Dietetic Internship at UW-Madison.
Karrie recognizes that ‘one-size-fits-all’ nutrition advice often fails to optimize health goals. Greater long term success is achieved when
one’s individual health needs and goals are evaluated and a personal strategy is devised that incorporates accountability and behavior change
strategies. If you’re looking for guidance and support through nutrition, Karrie would be honored to work with you.
