The real beating heart of Anglet, the Chambre d’Amour is the must-see site. It has always
been a place for meeting up and taking a walk. You go there with friends, family or
colleagues. Life flows through there, with an exceptional view, from breakfast to dinner

beaches, with numerous activities, and the entertainment and events will charm and

At the mouth of the Adour, La Barre is located in a natural setting between the ocean,
river, lakes, ecological park and forests in the background. The departure or arrival point
for the coastal promenade, it is also the home of different generations. Families
appreciate the equipment available for children, there is a Skate Park, not far from the
Municipal Ice Rink, and also a Citystadium with a basketball court and football pitch. All
this without even mentioning the activities on the beach. On the promenade sports

The Anglet coastline is a sensitive area subject to natural erosion due to waves, wind
and storms. For many years, the town has ensured its preservation through works
involving profiling beaches, planting, dune remnants and re-silting the shallow waters
to limit this erosion for the safety of bathers, the quality of the waves and the beauty of

Listed as an historic monument since 2014.
The Church of Sainte-Marie was built in
Bidache stone in the 1930s and topped with

Located in the heart of Anglet, at the crossroads of Spain, Bayonne and Biarritz, the
Saint-Jean district has developed and has gathered all the administrative and cultural
institutions around its Town Hall. Nearby, the Esplanade Quintaou, famous for its market,
its theatre, its flea and second-hand markets, is one of the unmissable places in Anglet.
At the Quintaou market you can be sure of passing the time of day with the locals, having
a drink or eating a snack with them and coming home with a full basket!

But who was William Marcel? Born in Hogar, constructed at the end of the 1920s,

Built in 1936, the new town hall is a real
architectural gem with its clear Neo-Basque
style. Hispanic influences are evident,
particularly in the small interior patio, which
