Halaal and Haraam These are everyday Arabic words that
refer to what is Good n Bad as regards human behaviour. If
food - Hygienic n Healthy;Dress- Modesty; business-
Truthfulness n Good Governance;
Human Interaction- Decency ,Human Rights etc .
Let us examine from a NON RELIGIOUS POINT
Is this method Cruel?
 Today scientists have discovered that Halal/Koshi Meats
is the most fresh meats. The secret is the method .Facts from
“An up-to-date assessment of the muslim method” by Dr.
Abdul Majid Katme, at UFAW Symp.on Humane method ,
held at the Zoological Society of London, in Sept.1986. *

consciousness immediately. It is difficult to conceive a more
painless and rapid mode of death; 'The movement of the
animal which begins at about 90 seconds are epileptiform in
nature and are due to the blood-less state of the brain.

believed and expressed – that the incision applied in the
Ritual method causes no pain. Surgeons today know that
sudden big injuries are not felt at the time of infliction.

Lovett Evans, FRCVS., said: "As anyone who has ever
witnessed the act is well aware, the animal lies absolutely
still the moment the vessels arc cut, only a minute later that
asphyxia! convulsions set in. Consciousness is lost long
before this ""To consider that the animal suffers pain is
quite absurd. I consider the method to be equal to any ".Prof.
Leonard Hill says that no death could be more merciful...

    Rationality:Verdicts are pronounced by powerful

Is meat Hygienic?
1.Animal must be healthy.
2 Animal unaware of outcome
Very sharp knife, a Deep swift cut done quickly to the blood
vessels of the neck (the two caroid arteries which carry blood
to the brain and head, the two jugular veins which bring blood
from the brain back to the heart), the windpipe and the
gullet,but the spinal cord should be kept safe and intact. After
this short resting phase, and because the brain is deprived of
oxygen and blood due to the huge amount of bleeding, the
heartbeats increase in order to increase the flow of blood to the
brain and other deprived areas. Tonic and clonic involuntary
contractions and convulsions start and occur as automatic
physiological reflexes in order to send and push blood up,
especially to the brain. These contractions and convulsions
are 'painless' (not, as the layman would imagine, that the
kicking is due to the pain) especially when the animal is
already unconscious and still has an intact spinal cord with
safe nerve centers to the limbs, muscles and organs. A huge
amount of bleeding from the initial cut then blood loss is
continuing with the squeezing pressure of these contractions
and convulsions, leading to maximum bleeding-out and less
retention of blood in the carcass, giving a better quality of
meat [both safer and healthier]

3. Is it suitable for Non-Muslims (meaning is it a sacrifice
to a Muslim GOD!)
    Most Religions advise their believers not to consume food
, that are made as Religious Oferrings , in Other Faiths. Halaal
method of bringing meat to the table; has no such offering.
Firstly Muslims are allowed to eat any thing from the sea.
Why is it allowed? When fish loses its life, all the blood gets
into its gills, thus making the meat FRESH. Therefore if we
are to wonder why *Allahu Akbar(GOD is Great) is said
when a Muslim slaughter animals, the answer is Obvious!
Firstly the Creator expects all its creatures to remember IT,
which is called Zikr. Muslims use different Glorification for
different occasions and Times. Eg when one hears of a good
news, put on a new dress, commence eating or drinking, etc
etc. Thus when someone handles animals for food he says the
Creator is Great(meaning he has granted me permission ...)
* Allah in normal language means -The Unborn, Uncreated,
Unformed, The TRUTH are all part of the ways to understand
the Creator

Bob: Is a Muslim particular about Halaal and Haraam?
BM: Permissible is termed Halaal and not permissible is
termed Haraam. The Quran draws the distinction.

Bob: Can you give me an example?
BM: Yes, Islam has prohibited blood. An abundance of
uric acid, is found in blood which can be injurious to
human health.

Bob: uric acid is excreted as a waste product, and 98% of the
body's uric acid is extracted from the blood and removed
through urination.
BM: Now I think that you'll appreciate the special prescribed
method of animal slaughter in Islam.

Bob: What do you mean?
BM: The wielder of the knife, takes the name of the
'Almighty', makes an incision through the jugular veins,
leaving all other veins and organs intact.

Bob : I see, this causes the death of the animal by a total loss of
blood from the body, rather than an injury to any vital organ.
BM: Yes, were the organs, example the heart, the liver, or the
brain crippled or damaged, the animal could die immediately
and its blood would congeal in its veins and eventually
permeate the flesh. This contaminates with uric acid, and
therefore poisonous; only today did our dieticians realize
such a thing.

Bob: Why do Muslims dont eat pork?
BM: The Quran prohibits the consumption of pork: in fact the
Bible too in Lev11: 8, regarding swine it says, 'of their flesh
shall you not eat, and of their carcass you shall not touch; they
are unclean to you.' A pig cannot be slaughtered at the neck for
it does not have a neck. Most are well informed about the
harmful effects of the consumption of pork

Bob: Medical science - the pig is a host for many parasites and
potential for various diseases.
BM: It is important to note that the pig 's biochemistry
excretes only 2% of its total uric acid content, the remaining
98% remains as an integral part of the body. Plus as
everyone knows....

EATING NON-VEGETARIAN FOOD (courtesy Dr. Zakir

1. A Muslim can be a pure vegetarian
2. Qur'an permits Muslims to have non-veg food
Lawful unto you (for food) are all four-footed animals with
the exceptions named."Qur'an 5:1“
3. Meat is nutritious and rich in complete protein Non-
vegetarian food is a good source of excellent protein. It
contains biologically complete protein i.e.all the 8 essential
amino acid that are not synthesized by the body and should be
supplied in the diet. Meat also contains iron, vitamin B1 and
niacin.
4. Humans have Omnivorous teeth
5. Can digest vegetarian and non-vegetarian food
The digestive system of herbivorous animals can digest only
vegetables. while carnivorous can digest only meat.
6. Even plants have life and also can feel pain
7. Over population of cattle
If every human being was a vegetarian, it would lead to
overpopulation of cattle in the world, since their reproduction
and multiplication is very swift.

What is worse than Terrorism?
Freedom of Expression is abused ,as no action is taken when
it interferes with Other's Freedom.A small group harass; If
Law n Order is not swift ,Helps Terrorism to GROW!!

Why Muslims are Targeted?
 Muslims strictly follow their Scriptures. contempt shown if
Peaceful Behavior not in line with majority of Society. The
same behavior upheld and emulated for centuries! (if
Freedom of Choice of Society is not affected, why...?)

How do you find Solutions?
Express concerns strongly in Media, arouse Civil n
Religious Org. to come forward to build better
understanding by common social Projects n Activities;
Suspicion, Ignorance of Cultures will vanish. People will
accommodate and adjust practices. Then Mischief makers,
cannot arouse Hatred among Neighbors.

Vulnerability has become Freedom of Choice! SAD.

Killing is BAD;Victims with no SOLUTIONS through
World Justice and Human Right Systems are Terrorists! Is
there greater inequality than being Silent to the Pleas of the
Weak byWorld Powers,n media bias? Raw POWer
Dictates! Sad Justice .

REMEMBER?Scholars went to Spain, learnt Arabic to
study Sciences, Culture n Civilzation .YET, when in
POWER millions of books were destroyed..... The Spanish
Inquistion followed by Colonisation, dismantled the Islamic
State –Then Mosques were used to teach Sciences and
religious practices. Today Mosques still follow.... No
teaching Sciences and even Arabic, No Lectures! 90% time
unused!
