HORSE ACCOMMODATION:
Yards must be booked when placing entries, no temporary fencing or tape fences allowed, portable yards to be

We have several different yarding options, each is limited and will be allocated on a first in first served basis when you
place your entries.
Deluxe covered yards with wood chips $60.00
Covered yards with straw $40.00
Wooden yards $20.00
Wooden pony yards $15.00
Open pipe yards $20.00
All horses and ponies in yards must wear their corresponding yard tag to be collected from the secretaries office.
Yard tags are to be returned when you leave the grounds – after which your yard will be checked and locked (so no
one can jump in and leave a mess in your name). You are responsible for your yard until the yard tag is returned.
Swapping of yards without discussing and getting approval from the yarding manager is not permitted. Any horses in
yards without their yard tags or in the wrong yards will be impounded by the committee, these horses can be collected
upon payment of a $50.00 cash impound fee.
$5.00 fee applies to any yard tags not returned
$50.00 cleaning fee applies to any stables or yards not cleaned out prior to leaving the grounds.
Wairarapa A&P have tightened up on yarding and changed the way you book due to the large numbers of special
requests, yard swapping and number of yards that are used without booking. We have done this to maintain the first in
first served system as well as ensure that no one arrives on the grounds to find a horse in their yard.
