Happy October LMS! The Student Government has been hard at work trying to nd ways to

and the more people who know can help. As we all know, change and action are what gets
stuff going! With that being said, the SGA wants to roll out some fun engaging activities that
bene t the world and help stop the climate crisis. If you are someone who wants to help and
be out in nature, this is for you!

Learn more about how to compost at home here.
Before Thanksgiving break, send your nished document to the LMS SGA at
    studentgovo ms@gmail.com
30-piece trash pickup Challenge: Until Thanksgiving days pick up 30 pieces or more of
trash around your neighborhood or any outside location each day. KEEP ALL THE TRASH
in a bag so that you can take a pick of you and your 30 at the end of the 40 days to send
to us for con rmation at: studentgovo ms@gmail.com
No Plastic Challenge: For 30 days try to use 0 pieces of plastic including bags, bottles,
and cups. This one is hard so the rst 3 people to send us a note letting us know you

Calling for Queremos
  Recipes! Recetas!

For this year’s Hispanic Heritage Month, LMS thought it would be fun to explore the diversity
of Hispanic cuisine. From Mexico to Central America, from the Caribbean to Northern and
Southern South America, we celebrate the histories, cultures and contributions of our
Hispanic families. The rich diversity of Hispanic cuisine opens up a world of possibilities
when cultivating Hispanic-inspired meals during this month of celebration and throughout the
year. We are excited to welcome Loiederman families to share their favorite Hispanic inspired
recipes. To contribute your family's recipe, ll out the Google form attached below and we will
collect all the recipes in a cookbook that we will share with our Loiederman families. We look
forward to seeing some great family recipes!!! Click here to nd: Google form for recipes.
