    UNPACK YOUR FOOD PROCESSOR CAREFULLY AND REMOVE
TEMPORARY PACKING PIECES, LABELS, STICKERS AND SWINGTICKETS.

Before first use
1. Remove any labels, stickers and swingtickets.
2. Follow the instructions for “Cleaning”.
Cleaning and Storage
 Ensure that the machine is disconnected from the electricity supply before
cleaning.
 Thoroughly wash the Feed Head 2 , Food Pusher 3 , Inserts 4 , and Insert
Fastener 5 before use with liquid detergent and warm water, rinse and dry.
Wipe the Motor Body 1 with a cloth dampened slightly with liquid detergent
and warm water.
• All items except the Motor Body 1 may also be washed in a dishwasher.
  Small items should be secured, for example, by placing in the cutlery basket.
• Do not use solvents, bleach, harsh or abrasive cleaners.
• DO NOT IMMERSE THE MOTOR BODY 1 IN WATER.
 You might find it more convenient to assemble the Food Processor before
storage.
 Store in a clean, dry, secure place.

How to assemble
 Ensure that the machine is disconnected from the electricity supply before
assembling or changing any inserts.
1. Insert the Feed Head 2 into the Drive Socket 6 of the
    Motor Body 1 , angled to the right, as indicated in the
    diagram. When you feel it slot “home”, rotate counter-
    clockwise into a vertical position until it “clicks” into
    place.
2. Select the required Insert 4 according to your
    requirements and to the following guidelines:
•   Red - suitable for coarse grating of: carrots, courgettes,
    potatoes, peppers, hard cheese (e.g. Parmesan) or
    chocolate;
•   Orange - suitable for fine grating of: carrots,
    courgettes, hard cheese (e. g. Parmesan), chocolate or
    coconuts;
•   Yellow - suitable for grinding/grating of: hard cheese (e. g. Parmesan),
    chocolate, dry bread/rolls or pastries, hazelnuts, walnuts, almonds or
    coconuts;
•   Light green - for cutting thin, smooth slices. This insert is suitable for cutting:
    carrots, courgettes, potatoes, cucumbers, peppers, onions, turnips, red
    cabbage, white cabbage, apples or hard cheese;
•   Dark green - for cutting thick, wavy slices. This insert is suitable for cutting:
    carrots, courgettes, potatoes, cucumbers, peppers, onions, turnips, red
    cabbage, white cabbage, apples or hard cheese.
 DO NOT USE THE FOOD PROCESSOR FOR PROCESSING VERY HARD FOOD
OR MEAT
3. Slide the selected Insert 4 over the drive shaft in the Feed
    Head 2 .
 THE CUTTING AND GRATING SURFACES OF THE INSERTS
ARE SHARP; TAKE CARE WHEN HANDLING AND HOLD
ONLY BY THE PLASTIC PARTS OF THE INSERTS.
4. Place the Insert Fastener 5 on the end of the drive shaft
    in the Feed Head 2 , then turn counter-clockwise until it
    “clicks” into place.

How to disassemble
 Ensure that the machine is disconnected from the electricity supply before
disassembly.
 Disassembly is the reverse of the procedure described under “How to
assemble”.
How to use
1. Assemble the Food Processor (see “How to assemble”) and site on a clean,
    dry, flat surface.
2. Prepare the food by chopping into small pieces, approximately 20mm x 20mm
    x 20mm, so that they fit into the Feed Head 2 inlet.
3. Insert the Mains Plug 8 into a mains socket and switch on at the socket.
4. Position a bowl or other suitable container beneath the outlet of the
    Feed Head 2 , to catch the processed food.
5. Place food to be processed in the inlet of the Feed Head 2 .
6. Using only the Food Pusher 3 to push the food into the Feed Head 2 , press
    the Pulse Button 7 to process the food.
•   Do not run the Food Processor for more than 2 minutes continuously. Wait a
    further 1 minute before running again.
•   DO NOT USE UNDUE FORCE, ANY OTHER IMPLEMENT OR YOUR FINGERS.
7. Switch off at, and disconnect from, the mains supply.
8. With a plastic or wooden implement, remove any food left in the Feed Head
    2 and the Insert 4 into your container.
9. Disassemble (see “How to disassemble”) and clean (see “Cleaning”).

Cautions
•   This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
    reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience or
    knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
    use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
•   Otherwise, always keep the unit out of the reach of children.
•   Before use, check that your mains power supply corresponds to the voltage
    shown in this manual.
•   This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or
    a separate remote-control system.
•   Do not run the Food Processor for more than 2 minutes continuously. Wait a
    further 1 minute before running again.
•   Do not connect the Plug 8 into your socket with wet hands.
•   Unplug the unit whenever it is not in use.
•   Never leave the appliance unattended when it is operating.
•   The Mains Lead 8 should be positioned so as not to cause an obstruction or
    to overhang the edge of the surface, where it could accidentally snagged or
    pulled by children.
•   Ensure that the Mains Lead 8 is not near any hot surface.
•   Pull the Plug (do not pull Mains Lead) 8 to disconnect from mains socket.
•   The appliance should only be used as instructed: there is potential for injury
    from misuse.
•   THE CUTTING AND GRATING SURFACES OF THE INSERTS ARE SHARP; TAKE
    CARE WHEN HANDLING AND HOLD ONLY BY THE PLASTIC PARTS OF THE
    INSERTS.
•   Do not put your fingers or any object into the Feed Head 2 when the Food
    Processor is running.
•   Do not connect the Mains Plug 8 to the mains electricity supply until you
    have assembled the Food Processor.
•   Do not switch on or attempt to operate the Food Processor if it appears to be
    faulty in any way - contact Judge Customer Services at the address given in
    the warranty section.
•   Never attempt to make any repair to the Food Processor yourself - contact
    Judge customer services at the address given in the warranty section.
•   Do not immerse the Motor Body 1 in water.
•   Please keep your purchase receipt.
