• To increase capacity development in fundamental physics
  and related applications in Africa.

• African conference is a program of actions with directed
  ethos toward physics as an engine for development in Africa

•   ASFAP CPM 2021 will be on December 12-18 at Faculty of Science Semlalia
•   It will be our pleasure to welcome you in Marrakech

  o It will be an in-person African Conference
      o Hybrid options likely to be limited

  o We plan to have the following schedule:
      o Plenaries on all five days
      o Parallel sessions-Possibly with an extended number of tracks

          o    Progress on White paper studies, Outline of the Strategy report
      o Poster sessions
      o Coffee breaks, Group Photo, Conference Dinner
      o Social Events and Excursion options are in development

o And yet, COVID
   o In Morocco, > 50% of the population has at least one vaccine shot -Growing
      everyday
   o Vaccination campaign in the rest of Africa will improve helpfully
