This show is often called a “Mopar Lover’s Paradise” and it
really is! Look around and you’ll see just about every aspect of the
hobby represented. From the best OE restorations to drivers and
from Barn Finds to modern Mopars. The show is largely classic
muscle, but everything is represented fairly. It all comes from YOUR
PASSION. We welcome you to the event and THANK YOU for your

People say the hobby is changing. It is, but it always has been.

Super Bees. Every manufacturer has produced a
bare bones street racer at some point, but the A12
might have been the ultimate. It had everything
a street racer needed and almost nothing that

that weren’t necessary for a race car but Dodge
and Plymouth were obviously paying attention to
what the racers were doing.
Chrysler ditched the steel hood and hinges just
like the racers did and added a fiberglass pin-on
hood with a functional scoop. Wheel covers and
trim rings won’t pass tech at most tracks so why
make the customer buy them just to take them

digit of the VIN. Mr. Norm and his crew proved
that you could fit a big block in the slightly larger
1967 A-Bodies when they shoehorned a 383 into
a ’67 Dart. For ’69, Chrysler decided to put their
biggest engine (displacement-wise) in the Darts
and Barracudas when they built the M-Code
A-Bodies with the 440.

2019 marks 50 years since Dodge took a major
swing at NASCAR in the “aero wars” by introduc-
ing the 1969 Charger 500 and then the Charger
Daytona. These are two of the rarest and most
desirable Mopars. The Aero Wars were heating up

in 1969 and Dodge saw the flaws in their recently
redesigned Charger. Aesthetically, the new
Charger was perfect (at least we think it is!) but it
wasn’t so great on the NASCAR super speedways
of the era. The ’69 Charger 500 was a huge step
in the right direction but it was the Daytona that
was totally outrageous. In today’s world, it’s hard
to believe that such a car would ever be built by a
major automotive manufacturer but Dodge has a

Arguably the most famous ’69 Charger
Daytona is the #71 K&K Insurance NASCAR
that was raced by Bobby Isaac. In 1970,
he won the NASCAR title and the car was
subsequently outlawed. Isaac and his crew
later took the car to Bonneville and set several
land speed records. In 2016, Tim Wellborn

MOPAR SURVIVORs first-time DISPLAY PARTICIPANTS
Each car in the Mopar Survivors tent has its
own story but one thing they all have in common
is that they are AT LEAST 85% original and 25
years old or older. These cars are not “restored
to original.” Rather, they still retain a minimum of
85% of the parts and finishes that were installed at 1967 CHRYSLER 300 1967 DODGE CORONET R/T

Minor repairs and maintenance are acceptable,
but pretty much everything else needs to be as
it came off of the assembly line. Survivors aren’t
always perfect, but that’s part of what makes them

The Mopar Survivors tent is located across
