CHANGING THE PLATES

Easy Pancakes                                                                        Red Velvet Waffles

                             1 ½ cups all-purpose flour                                                          16.5 oz package Red Velvet Cake Mix
                                2 tablespoons sugar                                                                             4 eggs
                            1 tablespoon baking powder                                                                        2 cups milk
                              ¾ teaspoon kosher salt                                                            1 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)
                   1 ¼ cups milk, dairy or non-dairy, both will work                                        raspberries (optional), and/or raspberry yogurt

                           4 tablespoons butter, melted

                             4 Large eggs – separated

                          ½ Cup butter or margarine melted                                                           1 ½ Teaspoon vanilla
                             2 Teaspoons baking soda                                                                      1 Cup milk
                             2 ½ Cup all-purpose flour                                                      2 Oz (squares) unsweetened chocolate
                                   1 Teaspoon salt                                                                1 ½ Cups all purpose flour
                                 2 Cups buttermilk
                                                                                                                       ½ Teaspoon salt
                           2 ½ Teaspoons baking powder
                                                                                                                  ½ Cup butter or margarine
Beat egg yolks and sugar until light and foamy. Add cooled melted butter, milk                                    2 Teaspoons baking powder

salt and beat well together. Beat egg whites until stiff and carefully fold into flour
mixture. Bake and serve.                                                                 In a small pan, melt the butter or margarine with the chocolate being careful not

                                                                                         and combine with eggs, milk and vanilla. Add dry ingredients and beat until
