The main focus of the South Kalgoorlie Primary School Business Plan is the ongoing High Performance High Care Culture that has been an integral part of the Department of
Education’s 2016 – 2019 Strategic Plan. Underpinning this plan and is student engagement.

Achievement Targets
The overall Achievement Targets are to:
   ▪   Set an upward trend in the percentage of students with moderate, high and very high progress in NAPLAN Writing and Numeracy.
   ▪   Increase the percentage of students with good and excellent achievement in NAPLAN Numeracy, Writing and Spelling from the Year 3 and Year 5 stable cohort.
   ▪   Continue positive trends established across Reading, Spelling, Writing and Numeracy.
   ▪   Ensure an average cohort score of 0.5 Progression Points or above in Literacy and Numeracy On Entry Assessment.
   ▪   Continue to maintain the school’s NQS status.
   ▪   Ensure consistent and comparative teacher judgements through moderation on the Brightpath Rulers.
   ▪   Continue to reduce the number of suspensions across the school each year.
   ▪   Show improvements in Be You assessments.
