BOURNEMOUTH KAWASAKI RACING SINCE 2010 Starting in 2010 with James Hillier and road racing, Team Owner, Pete Extance, has taken this family-run team from strength to strength. Each year has seen the team grow in size, ambition and racing reputation, to become a force to be reckoned with in the paddock. This reputation isn’t just for excellent on-track performance, but includes market-leading promotional activity and outstanding hospitality.
2018 RACING TEAM
LEON HASLAM - “91”
Leon ‘Pocket Rocket’ Haslam has motorbike racing in blood. He is the
son of former Grand Prix champion road racer, Ron Haslam.
Leon has competed at all levels of the sport, including World Superbikes, but has
never won the British Superbikes Championship. He has come close however, with
three 2nd place finishes in 2006, 2008 & 2016 and a 3rd place in 2017.
Leon currently leads the 2018 championship and is predicted to take the title at Brands
Hatch in October; but anything can happen in BSB, so it’s all to play for.
LUKE MOSSEY – “12”
Luke ‘Skywalker’ Mossey has claimed 11 motorcycle
championship wins including five time British Minibike Champion.
Luke first entered the British Superbike Championship in 2015. He instantly made a
name for himself as a focused and determined rider, winning the BSB Riders’ Cup.
In 2016 Luke achieved a well earned place in the championship showdown, and
2017 saw him achieve his first double race win. 2018 hasn’t been the year he or
the team wanted, but despite injury, Luke has continued to fight for race points.
BEYOND SUPERBIKES
BRITISH SIDECAR CHAMPIONSHIP
3 Wheels. 2 People. 1 Aim… To Win!
Described as “one of the most visually exciting forms of motorsport”, the sidecar
championship sees these 3 wheel bikes tackle some of the most iconic British circuits.
Ricky Stevens and Ryan Charlwood are the 2015 and 2016 British F1 Sidecar
Champions, and current contenders for the 2018 600 Cup. The Sidecar duo have come
a long way since first racing together in 2012, clocking up 12 wins, 15 podiums and 3
lap records in 2015 alone. They also beat the World Champions, effectively making
them the best sidecar riders in the world that year.
ROAD RACING
The British road racing calendar is dominated by the NorthWest
200 & the Isle of Man TT.
This form of extremely popular motorsport, with a huge loyal fanbase, sees
racing on street circuit using closed public roads.
Road racing since the age of 17, James Hillier is popular amongst fan. Since
joining Bournemouth Kawasaki in 2010 has seen frequent wins and podiums
across a multitude of race series.

Superbikes, complete with screens so you don’t miss a second of the action.
