WE BELIEVE...
You’re here because the
seashore calls you.
Breathe deep and smell the fresh salt air.
The moment your feet touch the sand you
are ten years old again and looking
forward to spending the whole day in the
surf…now it’s your kids and grandchildren
who live the dream because you trusted us
with one of the most important decisions of
your life. Can you replace hearing the roar
of the ocean from your open bedroom
window on a balmy summer night? Perhaps
the laughter of children mixed with the
gull’s cry on a steamy summer afternoon?
You alone have made your memories here
and we are proud that we were
a part of that and hope to help others build
their own special memories for many years
to come.
And yes, times have changed and maybe you are enjoying the slow lull of the waves as you
read your latest downloaded book or perhaps you’re working from your beach chair or boat
because you can do it just as well here, maybe even better. With family members close by
and relaxing moments to think you find you’re even more creative and productive with a
renewed sense that you made the right decision and put your faith in us to make your choice
a reality. WE GET IT. Whether you are busy or taking it slow, whether you own or rent your
home here, we believe in the value of time well spent at the shore.
26Although we’ve been here for over 60 years we start fresh every day. Whether long time or
new, our clients and customers are never taken for granted. Managing desires is a business
we take very seriously and strive to make the process of renting your beach home or second
home ownership a reality for our island visitors. We realize that people come to Stone Harbor
and surrounding areas for the same reasons we chose to live, work and play here.
YOU’RE HERE. SO ARE WE.
WE BELIEVE.

Hello...We are now located here at 9720 Third
Avenue. Because of and thanks to our loyal
customers, 2019 marks our 35th year in business.
"Stephanie's has come a long way since our
humble beginnings in Cape May. At that time, I
was 5 years old and my father had acquired the
furnishings and antigues from a woman who had
lived to be an astounding 108 years old. My father
decided to open a store with these new-found
treasures. Thirty five years later, Stone Harbor is
our primary location and home to our latest
discoveries, gift and keepsakes.
As for my father, this business has been a journey.
And, as for my mother, this business has become a
venue to enjoy the company and conversation of
customers who have become loyal friends. For
myself, this business has been and continues to be
a learning experience on many levels.
It is the place where I exhibit my
original artwork. I am surrounded
by work that I love and I get to
share it with everyone who walks
through the door. This is our
ambience, there is our
enthusiasm.
