S w i m m i n g Instructional Swim All campers ages 4 through 6th grade participate in at Camp our Instructional Swim Program. Campers will progress through a series of levels following structured lesson plans that allow for an evolution of their swimming skills; from basic water acclimation to advanced strokes and techniques. Free Swim Campers ages 4 through 6th grade will enjoy free swim in our state-of-the-art outdoor water park. Campers age 3 engage in daily water play in the Splash Pad or Toddler Wading Pool. **All activities are subject to change depending on the most current Shelby County Health Directive and CDC Guidelines. ECC All ECC campers visit our activity specialists several times Camp throughout the week, and relax during an age-appropriate rest time every day. Partial week options are available. Pitzel K’tonton 3 by May 31, 2022 and Fully Potty Trained 4 by August 15, 2022 and Fully Potty Trained Pitzel offers a lovely experience for your K’tonton campers enjoy art projects, stories, first-time camper. Your child is immersed in music and movement, manipulatives, weekly interactive play and activities in a structured, yet Shabbat celebrations, and much more flexible, action-packed day. Campers complete opportunities through independent play as art projects, sing songs, enjoy story times, well as counselor-directed activities. p o r SCamps t s Rising 1st – 6th Graders (*J Ninja Warrior and Gymnastics are Grades 2nd–6th) All sports campers swim twice a day; instructional swim in the morning and free swim in the afternoon. Within each sports camp, campers are divided by age and LOLLIPOP WOODS ability, while following the same daily schedule. Soccer (Week 1 and Week 7) Get ready for a fun-filled, skills-based week of soccer! Your camper will do soccer drills and skills in the morning, and finish the day with fun soccer competitions and scrimmages in the afternoons. Soccer camp is designed to develop players with a focus on team-building and sportsmanship. Score a goal to get an Basketball (Week 2 and Week 6) extra turn. Partnering with Coach Antonio Perez, we will have experienced coaching staff on hand to host an action packed, fun, and basketball skill development camp. Campers will focus on fundamental skills and enjoy daily games and competitions. J Ninja Warrior* (Week 3) Participate in fun physical activities with obstacle courses, progressive relays, and team-based challenges. It’s an exciting approach to fitness. Campers will work on coordination, speed and agility, balance, mobility, and so much more. They will use everything from agility ladders, ropes, body weight, slam balls, and more! 10
Football (Week 4) Led by former Alcorn State Football Player, Jamison Knox, flag football camp will focus on enhancing camper’s knowledge of strategy and plays. Each day campers will enjoy working on offensive and defensive drills, agility, passing, catching and kicking. Campers will take part in scrimmages, and competitions all while having a week of football fun! Color War (Week 5) Campers will be divided into two colors: red and blue, and they will play a variation of camp games throughout the week including Ga-Ga, capture the flag, tennis, baseball, and so much more competing to win points! Each day will be filled with fun and healthy competition, ruach (Hebrew word for “spirit”), and so much more! Gymnastics* (Week 5): Campers in gymnastics camp will be given the opportunity to learn new All Star Sports (Week 9) skills on the bars, mats, floor, and more. This camp will be filled with All Star Sports campers will have a week filled with all high-energy activities for your active camper to get the most out of this different sports including, soccer, basketball, baseball, fun camp! tennis, and so much more! It will be a week filled with sportsmanship, friendly competitions, and building everlasting friendships. Tennis (Week 3 and Week 8) Tennis campers will learn basic fundamentals of tennis. This includes footwork drills, games, strategy and match play. Campers will be grouped according to age and/or ability, and are encouraged to bring their own racquet each day. 11
Specialty Rising 1st – 6th Graders (*Theatre and Robotics are Grades 2nd–6th) C a m p s All specialty campers swim twice a day; instructional swim in the morning and free swim in the afternoon. Art (Week 2 and Weeks 6+7) Week 2: Drawing, Painting, and Collage: Campers will explore their creativity by creating 2D art using techniques in drawing, painting, and collage. Week 6+7: Sculpture: Campers will create 3D art using a variety of different tools, materials, and methods focusing on figure models and mask making. Hip-Hop Dance (Week 1) Taught by Stephen Prince Tate, a season 10 of So You Think You Can Dance contestant. Campers will learn the basics of hip-hop dance. Campers will be able to put on a dance recital for the rest of the camp at Shabbat to showcase everything they learned throughout the week. Chess (Week 7) MJCC Chess Camp welcomes beginner chess players to a positive environment for fun, learning, and achievement. Hand selected instructors have been trained by Grandmaster Alexander Stripunksy and International Master Jake Kleinman from Midsouth Chess. Go to the gummy bear to see a new camp. 12
Theatre* (Weeks 3 + 4) Act, sing, and dance your way through summer! Campers will learn theatre appreciation, acting skills, movement, staging, and work on their stage presence. Theatre Camp ends with a performance for parents on Thursday, June 30 at 5:30 PM and for all camp on Friday, July 1. No Bake Cooking (Week 8) Led by Marisa Baggett, a pronounced sushi and pastry chef, your child will be introduced to the world of cooking. Your child will come home each day with fantastic recipes to be made as a family! Robotics* (Week 2 and Week 5): Campers will be introduced to robotics through use of the Dash Robot I. The campers will learn about input and output, sensors, and different motors. 13

Camp a t i o n Early Bird Registration Infor m Any registrations prior to May 7, 2022 will be granted a $25 early bird registration discount per week for Day Camp. Changes to Registration Camp Hours Any change in registration is subject to availability. To begin the Regular Camp hours are 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
