TIARA BALL Thank you for joining us this evening. More importantly, thank you for all you do to help others. Your generosity
and support of others within our community enables Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital to provide the highest
quality emergency, trauma and critical care services in a state-of-the-art facility. You help ensure that no one is

Since 2005, the Tiara Ball has raised $4,970,896 to help treat thousands of children and adults who are critically
ill or injured. Tonight, we will be sharing the story of one of those patients and honoring the caregivers who
saved his life.

Critical Care Services
Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital is designated as a Level I Trauma
Center for adults and for children by the American College of
Surgeons and Santa Barbara County Emergency Medical Services
Agency. Our trauma center responds to emergency patient needs
from throughout Santa Barbara County, as well as parts of Ventura
and San Luis Obispo counties.
Adult critical care services include a 20-bed medical intensive
care unit and a 20-bed surgical intensive care unit. Pediatric
critical care services include
an 8-bed pediatric intensive
care unit and a 22-bed neonatal
intensive care unit.
