Thank you for your interest in Chilliwack Golf Club! We are pleased to present the enclosed tournament and banquet information package to assist you with the planning stages of your event. The Chilliwack Golf Club, established in 1958, is a semi-private facility located between Chilliwack and Abbotsford, only 45 minutes from Vancouver. It features magnificent tree lined fairways, a creek that meanders through the back nine and breathtaking mountain vistas in every direction. Members and non-members have enjoyed the Fraser Valley’s most popular golf course for over 50 years. Our clubhouse offers food and beverage amenities in our Creekside Lounge and our banquet facilities can accommodate groups from 30 to 300 guests. Please share the following information with your guests. 16. MUSIC:
SOCAN (Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of
Canada) requires that the users of music obtain a SOCAN license
to perform, or authorize others to perform, copyright music in
public. The required license fee for an event with music will be
charged based on the guidelines set out by SOCAN and the
Copyright Act of Canada. An event held at Chilliwack Golf Club
with dancing is $50.00, without dancing is $25.00. This fee will
be added to all bills.
17. DURING THE TERM OF THIS CONTRACT:
(a) The C.G.C.C. shall use all reasonable efforts to fulfill the
requests of the Event and its Host to the best of its ability and to
reach
agreement with the Event and its Host on any dispute that may
arise between the parties
(b) The Event and its Host shall use all reasonable efforts to
conduct itself in a manner that is reasonable and polite and to
reach agreement with C.G.C.C. on any dispute that may arise
between the parties.
(c) It is understood that due to the current pandemic, C.G.C.C.
must comply with Provincial and National Government
mandates and orders as they pertain to gatherings and events.

change and is based on current guidelines.
