On behalf of the management team at Evraz Place, we
extend our warmest welcome to the tournament committee,
players, coaches and officials of the participating teams.
We are confident that events like these are contributing to
the development of sport throughout the province.

With its grand opening in January 2010, The Co-operators
Centre is Regina’s premier sport & recreation facility. This
information package is designed to assist with the
coordination of your tournament or special event and
includes facility technical information, food services
information along with standard operating practices, and
pricing for additional services.

We make hosting a tournament or event easy by providing
everything you need to make your event a success. To learn

EVRAZ PLACE
 FACILITY INFORMATION
Evraz Place
Situated in the heart of Regina, Evraz Place is the largest interconnected event complex of its kind in
Canada and the centre of sport, business and entertainment for the community. The Regina Exhibition
Association Limited is the not-for-profit corporation that operates the 100-acre Evraz Place property.

The property hosts the majority of Regina's major events, including Canada's Farm Progress Show, Queen
City Ex and Canadian Western Agribition. Evraz Place is home to the Saskatchewan Roughriders, Regina
Pats, Regina Soccer Association, many minor and recreational sports, and numerous concerts, trade
shows and conventions.

ARENA FACILITIES:
THE CO-OPERATORS CENTRE AT EVRAZ PLACE
The Co-operators Centre
Opening in January of 2010, The Co-operators Centre located at Evraz Place features six regulation size
ice surfaces with a main arena providing seating for 1,300 spectators. This premiere ice sports facility
hosts local, regional, national and international competitions twelve months a year including hockey,
ringette, figure skating and broomball. Designed for tournament play, the facility features full food and
beverage services including Tim Hortons, Subway and Western Pizza, an on-site pro-shop, as well as a
meeting room for competition organizers.

FACILITY STANDARDS
• Playing surfaces - Six NHL regulation 200' x 85' ice surfaces
• Team locker rooms - 32
• Media facilities - Two press boxes with room for up to 20 working media
• Use of lobby and concourse area complimentary parking
• Food and beverage services

Arena 6 - Co-operators Arena
• Regulation ice surface - 200’ x 85’
• Dressing rooms - Four, plus one room for officials, CIS room upon request
• Existing scorekeeper’s box in arena - table/writing surface built in
• Four standard 8’ tables plus four chairs
   • The arena is equipped with a plug-and-play sound system. Microphones and AV cables are
     available at the facility information desk (deposit required). Arena 6 also has capability for
     full large arena sound and lights with a hired tech present - see coordinator for prices.
• Merchandise sales - sole rights to Events Rights Holder
• Wireless internet services - $200 installation + $5/day usage fee

• All arenas have large floor to ceiling viewing windows on the second level
• RE/MAX Arena has a large upper viewing area inside the arena that is accessible from the
  second level.
• Two media boxes - both equipped with power and internet, one is also equipped with lighting and
  sound controls that you must have a hired tech present for.
• Men’s and women’s public washrooms located on the second level
      The arena has two possible seating configurations – fully extended the seating capacity is 1,300 or
      bottom seating can be folded in changing the seating capacity to 700.

• Best Western Boardroom - Located on the second level next to the spectator entrance to Arena 6
• Available free of charge based on availability. Good for use as tournament headquarters.
• Sillinger’s Corner - Located at the south end of the second level. Great area for volunteers, officials,
VIPS, etc.
        Tables $12.60 each
        Chairs $6.80 each
        Pipe & Drape - Provided by GES at $1.50 per foot
        Catering Services available
• Extreme Hockey & Sport Pro Shop - For all your sharpening, equipment, apparel and nutritional needs.
Located at the main entrance.
• Exhibitor Space - The lobby and concourse are great areas for event partner or sponsor activations.
Space is allocated through an application process (See exhibitor application)

     Rental Rates
      WINTER ICE
      (October 1 - March 31) Rental Rates and Booking
            • Non-prime rate $171 plus GST/ hour - Monday through Friday before 4 p.m.
            • Prime-time rate $265 plus GST/hour - Monday through Friday after 4 p.m. and all
            hours on Saturday and Sunday

     OFF-SEASON ICE
     (April 1 - September 30) Rental Rates and Booking
             • All off-season bookings $265 plus GST/hour

     DRYLAND RENTAL RATES AND BOOKING
              • Dryland rental rates $90 plus GST/hour

FOOD AND BEVERAGE

            Located in the EventPlex, Tim Hortons was founded in
            1964 in Hamilton, Ontario. The chain’s focus on top
            quality, always fresh product, value, great service and
            community leadership has allowed it to grow into the
            largest quick service restaurant chain in Canada
            specializing in always fresh coffee, baked goods and
            home style lunches. The chain’s biggest drawing card
            remains its legendary Tim Hortons coffee.

            Located on the second level, Western Pizza is licensed
            and has large viewing windows overseeing The Co-
            operators Arena. Western Pizza keeps customers
            coming back by giving them exactly what they want, a
            wide variety of excellent pizzas, pastas, salads, and
            much, much more. In fact, customers have had their
            pizzas delivered over distances of up to 2,000 miles in
            order to enjoy the unique blend of four cheeses and
            secret pizza sauce recipe.

            Located on the first floor, Subway is the world’s largest
            submarine sandwich chain with more than 39,000
            locations around the world. They’ve become the leading
            choice for people seeking quick, nutritious meals that
            the whole family can enjoy.
