productive citizens.
Due to the extraordinary circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, all schedules, procedures and dates are subject
to change. The dates set forth in this Back to School book are based on school starting as scheduled on Monday, August 17.
This publication went to print May 31, 2020. This publication has been updated as of 7/2/2020.

School Year! The beginning of a new year always brings
exciting opportunities for growth and discovery. It also
brings new opportunities to adapt together to meet our children’s
needs, no matter what challenges come our way.
The following pages are filled with important information that
will prepare you for the student registration process and help you
prepare your students for the coming year. Our VVSD staff is
eagerly awaiting the opportunity to welcome students back to our
learning environment. Please stay connected to our website and

An education in the Valley View School District is available to families who live within district
boundaries. Families who move out of the district boundaries after the first day of school can
request permission for their children to continue attendance in the current school for the remainder
of the current school year without any charge; however, they will be responsible for their student’s
transportation to and from school.
If it is determined children from families who do not live within district boundaries are attending
Valley View Schools, they will be charged per capita tuition on a pro-rated basis for the length of time
enrolled in Valley View School District. For reference, the 2019-2020 school year rate was $13,746.
Please contact the Enrollment Department for the current rate.

PROOF OF CURRENT ADDRESS
R esidency Verification for the 2020/2021 school year is required for ALL students attending or receiving services from
Valley View Schools, regardless of current information on file.
However, if your address or guardianship has changed for your student, you MUST contact the Enrollment Office
with the new information prior to registration. Please send an email to enrollment@vvsd.org with the proper legal
documentation to add a guardian or call 815-886-2700 x6114 to start the process. The Enrollment Department works all
summer, except for legal holidays.
All families of students must submit the following documents to register:
One of the following documents in the name of the parent/
guardian. This must match the current address on file for Sample Required Documents

It is expected that all students are registered (have fees paid and class assignment in hand) before the first day of
school. Take advantage of the “Early Bird Discount“ by paying for registration fees at, or before, Back to School
Registration day. Once all four registration steps are received by the school and approved, registration will be
considered complete when you have your teacher assignment or schedule in hand.

1. Log into the Infinite Campus Parent Portal at www.vvsd.org/portal.
To activate a new account, select "New User?" and enter your activation key
code. If you have issues activating your account, please contact the school.
2. From the Menu bar to the left of your screen, click “More.”
3. Select “Online Registration” then click “Begin Registration.”
4. Enter your full name to verify, then click “Submit.”
5. Complete each section listed below.
Click “Save” throughout the process to save a draft. Before submitting your
application, save a copy by selecting the Application Summary PDF.
6. Once all sections are complete, click “Submit.”

actively enrolled in Valley View Public Schools. The credit will be applied when the registration fees are assessed,

Welcome to Valley View School District’s Online Student
Fee Payment System!
This system is available to allow families to pay their school fees online and
track their financial obligations throughout the school year. You will not be
charged any additional fees for using this system.
Pay School Fees Online Today!
Follow these quick steps to access your
online account to submit a credit/debit
card payment:
1) Go to www.vvsd.org and select
“Families”. Click on “Online School
Fees” . Next, click on “Parent Portal”
and then “Campus Parent” to log into
your account. This webpage includes
a link for more detailed instructions.
2) If you are a new user, use your
Activation Key provided at
your child’s school main office
(Also on the back of report cards).
If you are an existing user, you
will need the username and
password that you created. 123456 - Student 1 Name
3) View school fees for student(s). 123457 - Student 2 Name
When you are ready to pay, click
“Make a Payment” and you will be
taken to the Valley View Web Store
—RevTrak to process your online
payment using a credit or debit card.
Note: You may pay your school fees
online but registration will still be
pending. Bring or mail in receipt on
registration date.
4) Print your online fee receipt and
bring it with you to Back to School
Registration to avoid long lines.
Your payment information will be kept confidential, and will not be shared or used for any other
purpose other than the purpose of this transaction.
