origin, your secondary school-leaving certificate may not
be considered equivalent to a German Abitur and it might
be necessary to attend Studienkolleg and/or pass the
Fest-stellungsprüfung (aptitude test) in order to study at a
German university.

the 1st semester for most degree programs takes place
only in the winter semester. For a few degree programs,
