ABOUT the Salon Owners Franchisee Association The Salon Owners Franchisee Association (SOFA) was founded in 2021 for franchisees of SmartStyle, Cost Cutters and other Regis Corp. hair salon brands, excluding Supercuts. Our mission is to have the best brands in the value hair salon industry by increasing brand value and improving franchisee profitability. The SOFA achieves our mission through structured collaboration, education and negotiation among members, the franchisor and key vendors. We exercise united stewardship to benefit common areas of our businesses. Our values are: Accountable: We measure ourselves against the highest standards of integrity and fiscal responsibility. Collaboration: We win together to achieve common goals of profitability, strong brands and relationships with our members, franchisor and vendor partners. Leverage: Our network leverage enables us to realize otherwise unachievable business and brand benefits. Excellence: We have an uncompromising focus on being the best in our industry with dedicated passion of our brands to compete and win. As an independent association, SOFA is dedicated to supporting franchisees by seeking new vendors and products and negotiating benefits for members. Members of SOFA represent about 1,000 hair salon locations under the Regis brand. Reach them through presentations and sponsorships at virtual board and membership meetings and through president’s messages, monthly News You Can Use e-newsletter advertising, dedicated product-oriented email messages or website banner advertising.
