Following the success of the first
North Star Science School in
December 2020, we are set to
welcome Professor Brian Cox
back for ‘North Star 2021’
this winter.
We support Professor Cox’s
vision for the UK to become
“the best place in the world
to do Science, Technology,
Engineering, Arts and Maths”.
North Star is part of the national
Science Summer School initiative
launched in 2012 by Professor Brian Cox
CBE and Lord Andrew Mawson OBE. The
first project played a significant role in
the incredible turnaround of a failing
school in east London.
Placing STEAM at the centre of the
curriculum has helped to steer St Paul’s
Way Trust School back to academic
success. The school has also played a
