Congratulations from the Vice-Chancellor 2 College of Nursing, Midwifery and Healthcare, School of Biomedical Sciences Virtual Celebration Event 29 July 2021
To the classes of the College of Nursing, Midwifery and Healthcare and the School of Biomedical Sciences - Congratulations! I believe passionately in the power of education to transform lives; and it is this conviction that sits at the heart of everything we do at the University of West London. As you reflect on your time at university, I hope you can see the influence that education has had on your life and on those around you. During your university journey, you will have developed the knowledge, skills and expertise that will set you up for your future career. However, I am mindful that for many of you this journey will not have been easy, and will have involved hard work, sacrifice and determination. I am also very much aware that the last year has been particularly difficult, but despite everything, we at the University are exceptionally proud of the way you have responded to the pandemic. Throughout you have shown incredible resilience, maturity, and commitment. So, on behalf of everyone at the University, can I say many congratulations on everything you have achieved. Professor Peter John CBE Vice-Chancellor 3
