DAY 1 Wednesday 4th August, 2021
                              MELBOURNE TO HORSHAM
We’re collected from home this morning by our chauffeur service and transferred to
meet our O’Shannessy’s Quality Tours coach and crew for our Silo Art Trail Tour.
Heading to Beaufort, a delightful small town of interesting historic buildings, we visit
the Imperial Egg Gallery, arguably one of the biggest egg collections of its kind. We’ll be
blown away by the magic and skill shown from this unique art medium. Next we head to
Ararat to enjoy lunch before visiting the Gum San Chinese Heritage Centre. This world
class Heritage Centre tells the story of miners from Southern China and brings to life the
social, environmental and political situations of immigrant miners in the mid 1800's.
We’ll take our own journey and relive the experience of Chinese gold prospectors on
their great trek from Robe, South Australia to the Victorian Goldfields. Afterwards we
begin to make our way to Horsham where we settle into our hotel for the evening.
OVERNIGHT: Best Westlander Motel, HORSHAM 

 DAY 2 Thursday 5th August, 2021
HORSHAM TO SWAN HILL - SILO ART TRAIL
Today is all about the stunning full-size images of the Silo Art Trail with our morning
starting in Rupanyup. As a side project of the Silo Art Trail, Georgia Goodie painted two
murals here, each one depicting fire fighters. Although not strictly silos we can
still appreciate the attention to detail and skill involved. Rupanyup is also home to silo
work of Russian mural artist, Julia Volchkova, who turned her attention to the town’s
youth and their great love of team sport. At the Sheep Hills Silo painted by Melbourne-
based artist Adnate, the indigenous-themed mural represents the passing of knowledge
from generation to generation. In Brim, the colourful characters of Guido van Helten’s
art depict an anonymous, multi-generational quartet of female and male farmers.
It was this Silo that created a movement in the region and inspired the establishment of
this trail. Moving along, in Rosebery we see the works of Kaff-eine where she depicts
themes that embody the region’s past, present and future. Stopping in Hopetoun now
for lunch, we then head to the Patchewollock mural by Brisbane artist, Fintan Magee,
5 DAY FULLY INCLUSIVE TOUR - 4th August - 8th August, 2021
which depicts a rugged, lanky local who exemplified the no-nonsense, hardworking spirit
of the region. Next, we see captured the true essence of Lascelles, where Melbourne
based artist, Rone was inspired by those deeply connected to the town. This is our final
masterpiece for the day as we now make our way to Swan Hill for the evening.
OVERNIGHT: Comfort Inn Campbell Motor Inn, SWAN HILL 

  DAY 3 Friday 6th August, 2021
                             SWAN HILL TO SHEPPARTON
The charming town of Boort is our first stop, where we’ll meet the very clever Spanner
Man. John and Sonia Piccoli’s garden is scattered with dozens of unique life size and
larger than life sculptures made from farm spanners. Your eyes will be drawn to the
incredible workmanship, all done without using plans or drawings. Our delicious lunch is
at Simply Tomatoes and Aussie Wool Quilts where we’ll have tastings of products made
from Green Tomatoes. After lunch we head to Rochester, where we have a look at the
brightly painted silo of a Squirrel Glider and an Azure Kingfisher. Then heading slightly
out of our way, we take the opportunity to see the latest addition to the Silo Art
collection in Colbinabbin. Artist Tim Bowtell’s artwork features across six silos and
depicts five different scenes from varying times through the town from the early 1900s
to the 1980s. Then it’s off to Shepparton, where we arrive at our hotel in time for dinner.
OVERNIGHT: Quality Hotel Parklake, SHEPPARTON 

DAY 4 Saturday 7th August, 2021
SHEPPARTON AND THE SILO ART TRAIL
This morning we keep track of Moooving Art! Paying homage to the strength of the dairy
industry in Greater Shepparton, Moooving art is an ever-changing public art exhibition of
life-sized 3D cows. These bovines are scattered throughout Shepparton and surrounding
towns in public gardens, playgrounds and businesses and are full of colour, spunk and
personality. With over 90 in the herd, we’ll be bound to spot more than a couple today.
We’ll also be seeing a part of Aboriginal Street Art Project. The Mural painted by
well-known artist Adnate depicts the late William Cooper and the late Pastor Sir Douglas
Nicholls, both leaders who made significant contributions to not just the region but
Australia as a whole. Afterwards, we’ll stop in at the Kaiela Arts, see more of this rich
Indigenous heritage. Kaiela Arts represents more than 90 artists and helps to share and
support their work. Artists receive training and mentoring at the centre, and the work of
many artists has been exhibited around the State, in some cases winning prestigious
awards. Enjoying lunch at the Cheeky Grog Co, we then find that there is always
something new to see at the Shepparton Motor Museum where vehicles have been
generously loaned for display from all over Australia. Next, we visit the Furphy Museum,
where we are taken on a 150-year journey through time - from the early days of Furphy
in Kyneton, Victoria to the modern era and a look into the diverse Australian business
today. We’ll then finish our day at the SPC Ardmona Factory Shop for an opportunity to
buy some local product before returning to our hotel.
OVERNIGHT: Quality Hotel Parklake, SHEPPARTON 

  DAY 5 Sunday 8th August, 2021
                            SHEPPARTON TO MELBOURNE
Today marks the last day of the tour, but don’t worry there is still plenty to see. This
morning we loop around as we head to Tungamah to see dancing brolgas and a
kookaburra. Making our way down, in St James, you will notice a large mural of Sir
George Coles, the founder of Coles Supermarkets. Then in Devenish, we’ll be amazed at
Cam Scale’s artwork of a First World War nurse and a modern-day combat medic. Not far
from here is Goorambat. Here at the Uniting Church we enjoy morning tea and see the
stunning depiction of "Sophia" the female aspect of the Holy Spirit. We’ll also make a
stop the Silo, depicting the critically endangered Barking Owl. In Benalla now, we’ll take
a drive to see some of the Street art – artists from around the world were brought
together to paint murals on bare walls, some over three stories high. We’ll then enjoy
lunch before making our way home where our chauffeur service will drop us to our very
door – all part of the great O’Shannessy’s Quality Tours service!
