Your Journey Begins With ACE!

Your journey begins with ACE!
Hello from Paul Steiner—FCPS ACE Administrator
We are very excited to offer this catalog to our Northern Virginia
Community! There are lots of changes and excitement happening
within FCPS ACE. In addition to offering our long standing quality
programming in areas such as Driver Education, Career and Technical
classes, Foreign & American Sign Language, and English for Speakers
of Other Languages classes, staff members are busy designing new
and exciting programs in response to your requests, the strategic
priorities of FCPS, and local employer needs!
Online class offerings are easy to access and fit into today’s busy
schedules. Growing full day camp offerings for students between
the ages of 8-13 provides quality enrichment opportunities while
affording full day options for working parents. Aligning enrichment
curriculum for middle and high school students focusing on
preparing for graduation, college preparation, or career paths will
assist with their educational needs. Investments in enhanced
computer labs and equipment are enabling us to expand our offering
of technology classes and career path instruction.
Some additions to our programs may seem minor on their surface;
but are setting the stage for enhanced services to our community of
students and employers. Social media outlets are providing easier
searches for locating classes.
Our catalog has a new improved look, with enhanced class
descriptions and room scheduling at locations that are set closer
to the class start date to enable FCPS ACE to respond to changing
classroom needs based on current enrollments. Receipts and
signage at the facility will provide individuals with the most current
information on class room assignments. Continuous class rollouts
are enabling staff to respond to identified needs and interests. If
you don’t see a class listing of interest within the pages of this
catalog, check us out online at www.aceclasses.fcps.edu to see what
new classes are available.
Follow us on social media to find out what is happening at
FCPS ACE. @FCPS_ACE and facebook.com/fcpsACE/
Thank you for considering FCPS ACE in your educational studies and
enrichment goals. We look forward to seeing you, and your friends
and family, in our classrooms!
