Activities Week 2019
Monday, 8 July – 12 July 2019
How will it work?

• Normal timetable Monday/ Tuesday with some visits Timetable
  suspended Wednesday/ Thursday/ Friday
• Students attend form as normal
• Each session is a morning or an afternoon
• Non uniform Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
Activities which are out of school

These must be chosen first
Have a look at the list of activities available, talk to your friends
See the Member of staff running the activity for letter
Pick the other activities you would like to do.
Staff running the activity will complete the spread sheet for that activity
once your payment has been made.

       ICE        MR LAX       £16    Slip, Spin and Speed with a one-hour ice-skating experience followed by climbing to the dizzy heights of various rock climbing

HARBOUR WALK      MRS MARSDEN     FREE   A full day exploring historic Seaham. Visit one of the oldest churches in England and the Lifeboat Centre. Bring a packed lunch
                                         and suitable outdoor clothing for the weather conditions as well as sun cream and drinks. You can also bring money for ice cream

                                         or snacks from Lickety Split or other seafront shops. There will be games on the beach weather permitting.

                                         has to offer. Cost includes ticket price and transport, so make sure to bring a bit of spare cash for sweets, treats and lunch.

                                            The bus will leave school at 9.30am and return at 5.00pm.

   SPONSORED      MS ATWATER    FREE        The walk will be following the Durham Heritage Coastal Footpath and is approximately 10 miles. The trip will last all day so students
      WALK        MISS                      need to bring a packed lunch and plenty of water to stay hydrated. Should the weather require it, students will be responsible for
                  THOMPSON                  supplying and administering sun tan cream. If your child usually has a free school meal, school will provide a lunch. We will not be
                                            stopping anywhere to purchase food but if your child would like to bring some money, I am hoping that we will have time for an ice
                                            cream on the way back to school! Students do not need to wear their school uniforms but I recommend sensible clothing, a
                                            waterproof coat and sturdy shoes. The walk will take the whole day and you will be required to get sponsorship for our school
                                            charity
