Dear clowns, actors, and everybody that is
interested in the universe of the clown nose!!
A day full of joy and happiness, we are very happy to realize 4 clown
courses in Quito Ecuador. We’re already working hard that everything will
work out well!!!
In this document you can find information about the courses, prices,
dates and timetable and and inscription form.

Basic Clown
The most important objective in the study of Clowns at
BONT´s is trying to discover in yourself an inner realm Date
of great humanity, which is the heart and spirit of a real

timing. We start with your own originality and then search for your own
unique Clown that can move people to laugh and cry.
In this course we invite you to open yourself up, put your heart and soul on
stage, be vulnerable, transparent and deeply emotional. Not ACTING like
Clown but BEING a Clown!
It is very honest, and very brave, for anyone to enter on to this path and
discover the essence of real Clown work.
!3We’ll travel together in the following way:
1) Preparation of the actor: creating conditions
- Training to stimulate your alertness, readiness, lightness, presence, timing,
rhythm and comfortableness on stage.
- Training to make you aware of your physical possibilities and limitations.
- Training to stimulate your (sense of) freedom and to have fun playing.
- Communication with the audience. What do you really share with the
audience? Ping-Pong! - Look and see.
- Finding the balance between your interior and exterior self.
2) Clown
- Learning to think and act as a Clown consisting of the following elements:
imitation, boasting, curiosity, naiveté, surprise, admiration, vocabulary,
taking things literally, relationship to authority and the poetry of a Clown.
- Improvisation
- Clown combat (duels).
- And in the end creating your own Clown routine.

Bont's wants to invite you to be your own creator
and give you the tools to make your own creations.

!Many people go from course to course, but what we've noticed in all these
years of teaching is that all people have a crying wish deep within their
soul ... and that wish is that they really want to create!
Stemming from his clown pedagogy and research for over 35 years, Eric de
Bont has developed a very simple and effective method that will take you on
a journey into the fascinating world of creativity. Join him on a road that
will bring you into contact with your own creative source and the power to
give expression to all that is within you.
In this course we will pass through three stages :
1) Clown laboratory (First week, two presentations):
-Maximize the clown thinking through the continuous creation
-Work with the structure Objective -> Problem -> Solution
2) Clown creator (second week, one presentation):
- Deepening of the creative process
- Creation of clown numbers from given situations or your own
creation.
3) Clown & human tragedies (second week, one presentation):
- How to tell a tragedy in clown language
-Training of clown thinking and poetry to achieve make people laugh
and also feel touch up.
-Work with personal situations, bringing clown to a higher level of
depth, transparency and vulnerability.
Every student will have a time of consult with Eric, who is going to help
you to give a good structure to your presentations.

The energy work is a very potent work, a great
gift for your clown! Course fee: $80
For Eric de Bont it’s one of the most beautiful
tool he has met in his life.
A part of being a teacher and director of clown, Eric de Bont is a
phisiotherapeut, teacher of energy, readings and healing.
In this course, we will work the intuition, a very old innerly knowledge.
It’s a tool that everybody can learn a part from our rational abilities.
You will learn to reactivate and use this tool for you work as a clown
and for your personal life.
We work basic principies of energy and how to feel in your proper
space. In the social clown work we are faced with themes that may
touch you deeply.
How can you be good in your own space?
What is the difference between your energy and the energy of others?
What effect has the social clown work on your own energy?
How can you separate energies?
How can you recuperate quickly after strong situations that affect you?
How can you clean energetically spaces, working-spaces, etc….
Energy work is a very potent work and a great gift to you and your
clown!
!6For me this work is one of the most beautiful I’ve met in my life…
In our school in Menorca we already use the work of energy for 20
years, to create conditions to find your clown, tu be your own creator,

Clown & music
In this course the goal is to get in contact with your clown through
music and singing.
Clown sing and make music in various constellations: solos, duos,
trios, quartos, choirs, orchestras, jazz bands.. etc… in varios styles:
classic, pop, opera, folklore, flamenco, etc….
The combination of songs and music is infinite!!!
