There are lots of on-line virtual opportunities for you to engage in and in this edition we have focused particularly on
opportunities available with ‘Springpod’ and ‘Speakers for Schools’. Many of these virtual opportunities are
available in half term and some include interactive webinars and workshops. Although we would expect interactive
sessions to have multiple attendees and to be recorded, when you are signing up as individuals be mindful to stay
safe on-line. Remember to never share your personal information in an open forum and to inform a member of staff
if you have any concerns.

J.P Morgan: National 2022 Technology Summer School: Application Masterclass – 9th
March 10am-12pm
.J.P. Morgan is the world's top investment bank and the 7th largest technology company internationally.
This is an incredible opportunity for Uptree Year 12/S5 students to attend a week-long summer school,
focussing on technology, with J.P. Morgan in London between the 29th August and 2nd September 2022.

HEALTH
Brighton and Sussex Medical School
This course provides a ‘virtual’ work experience for those looking to apply to medical school. You are
introduced to the NHS and then will explore the roles and skill sets of six different medical professions. You
will consider some of the challenges and wider issues doctors face.

Speakers for Schools (S4S)

(adult nursing, children`s nursing, learning disability nursing, and mental health nursing) and some of the different
