Books should have wings, as should all fruits of creativity, and they
should also share a common vocation, that of guiding the reader on
a journey towards freedom and liberty. It was upon this principle that
LibriVolanti, part of the Istos publishing group of Pisa, was founded
in June 2014.
Our mission is to provide flights of imagination for children and
youngsters alike, while their minds are still open, because it is
through books that freedom may grow and develop, becoming
stronger and longer-lasting.
For this reason, in our 2018 catalogue you will find books for kids
of all ages...books whose pictures are equally as captivating as the
stories themselves, books which lend themselves both to private
reading as well as to being enjoyed in the company of loved ones.
We believe in changing, but also in bringing about change in others,
so we decided to dedicate one series to the Revolutions, where
historical fact meets literary fiction, where collective ideals and
individual sentiment join together, accompanying the reader in his
first leap towards freedom, into the world of stories.
We believe in unleashing our imagination, but also in helping others
to do the same, so we have brought you LibrArte, a series dedicated
to those with a fascination for art...art as seen through the eyes, and
interpreted through the magical wonder, of artists past and present.
We believe in books which captivate the reader, and we want others
to enjoy this same feeling, so we have brought you Emozioni, a series
of large, illustrated books dedicated to our younger readers.
Ours are books you can browse through at home, at school, in the
library and in the bookshop. LibriVolanti is also proud to collaborate
with various bookshops, organising a wide range of different events,
meetings, workshops for your enjoyment.

The concept of LibriVolanti’s new series, thought and edited by
Teresa Porcella, arises right from there: tell today’s children, who are
