French West Indies, training various accounts on the Aii brands of wax
and lashes. Her mult-lingual talents (French, Persian, a little Italian
and Spanish, a smattering of German) and her innovative, exciting
presentations have made her popular with both international and
domestic accounts. Mike Spinozzi, the president of Sally Beauty
International has said of her presentations to the Sally Beauty
International Sales Meetings, that she is " the highlight of their sales
meetings!" and has " a unique and special gift!". When not traveling,
she sees her clients in the Bev Hills and L.A. Area, and now also, in the

John Frank Velez

colorist and entrepreneur John Frank Velez has been a
creative force in the international education arena for
25 years.

The TK native is well recognized in the United States,
Latin America and Europe for his professional
experience, innovative collections and inspirational
workshops. In his role, John Frank will utilize his artistic
and business acumen to help expand the Keratin
Complex® brand through cutting-edge educational
programs.

Daniel Carter
Regional Education Manager, West

Originally from Atlanta, GA, Daniel has been a stylist and
educator for over 21 years. Daniel has always had a love
of color, and loves moving his clients to the cutting edge
of the latest fashions in color. His desire to help other
colorists and stylists understand color is what led him to
color education. He is passionate about our industry and
helping stylists improve their craft. Daniel joined Keratin
Complex® in 2013 as local educator in the Atlanta market
and quickly worked his way up within the brand doing
classes, shows, and photoshoots both here in the United
States and internationally.

Daniel now resides in San Francisco, CA and is the Keratin
Complex® Education Manager for the Western United
States. Daniel believes that healthy, beautiful hair is a
must in today’s hair fashions and he uses Keratin
Complex® to make that a reality.

Skot Michael Foss
Director International Education

Foss brings substance and style to his role as international
education director for Sexy Hair. The notable artist and charismatic
educator is committed to the empowerment of the hairdresser,
adept at inspiring students and colleagues and translating runway
trends into street fashion for the hair design community.

Joining Sexy Hair as an educator in 1997, Foss rose through the
ranks becoming a master artist, Institute of Courage trainer and
regional education manager before reaching his current position in
2010. Over the years, he has contributed to Sexy Hair in a variety of
ways including helping to create the company’s signature
haircutting technique, Structure in Motion™ in addition to its twice-
yearly haircut collections. He is also an active contributor in product
development and collaborating with the corporate creative,
marketing and sales teams. “I was attracted to hair artistry because
it provided an opportunity to be creative, independent and directly
affect people,” he says. “I love being able to help people lives better
every day, to change how they look on the outside because it
directly affects how good they feel on the inside.”

In his current role as a international education director he conducts educational and public relations events, product
launches, sales seminars and motivational workshops. “I get to be a rock star!” Foss says with a chuckle, admitting
that he enjoys the entertainment aspects of his work. “The most rewarding part of my job is sharing and teaching
people to believe in their own creativity, perfect practice makes perfect and never to settle for less than you.”

Rafy Hardy
Artistic Creative Director

Artistic Creative Director Rafe Hardy has a passion for teaching
rivaled only by his passion for learning, and his enthusiasm for
Sexy Hair. As the company’s premier ambassador and official
“face” of Sexy Hair, the 23 year veteran has gained an extensive
global following. The charismatic and educator travels all over
the world, demonstrating his artistry, talent and motivational
skills at hair shows worldwide.

“I want to ensure that Sexy Hair continues to be an industry
trendsetter – creatively, technically and visually,” he says.

The magnetic hairdresser and educator, oversees Sexy Hair
creative team and assists in developing and teaching stylists the
company’s twice-yearly haircut collections and conceives new
show formats. He also helps develop the curriculum at the
Institute of Courage (IOC), Sexy Hair’s premier educational
facility.

Hardy joined Sexy Hair in 2000 as a platform artist. He worked his way up through the ranks to artistic creative
director in 2007. “I have the best job,” said Hardy. “I work with an amazing company; I get to channel my
creative energy into an industry I love, I work with wonderful and talented individuals every single day from all
over the world and as an educator I enhance the quality of hairdressers’ lives. At the end of the day, this fuels
my passion for the industry.

Jason Reyes

Jason Reyes started cutting hair as a teenager and
worked behind the chair while attending college. After
studying accounting, he opened a business designing
embroidered shirts for the likes of McDonalds and
Sherwin Williams. Reyes credits cutting hair with sum
of the industry’s best for making him stronger and
more ambitious. Throughout his time with JPMS, he
has continued his education, been published in
magazines, appeared in DVDs for Paul Mitchell
Schools’ “Cutting System”, and has been instrumental
in the development of a barbering curriculum.

Growing up on a dairy farm, Toby Price was cutting
firewood before picking up a pair of shears.
Beginning with his own hair, then a few buddies and
even their moms, Toby’s passion for haircutting led
him to enroll in his local beauty school and pursue
hairdressing as a carreer. As the owner of The
Experience Salon and a travelling educator for John
Paul Mitchell Systems, Toby gets to impact lives every
day, for the better.

Jessica Vartoughian
