HELLO FROM
Churchtown Farm...
One of the great joys, and to be honest
challenges, of running a flower farm on a
small island is finding people to join our
team. Over the years they have come from
far and wide, bringing with them many skills
and talents. Way back in 2007, Martin,
a skilled filmmaker, arrived and we leapt
on the opportunity to make a film about the
farm. Martin did a great job but 12 years on
it was time for an update.
Our new, beautifully shot, farm video can be
watched on our website or the ScillyFlowers
YouTube channel and will give you a real taste
of where your flowers come from – enjoy!

manager Jon and came to St Martin’s first.

Autumn colours
Autumn on the Isles of Scilly is
not announced by shiny conkers
or piles of leaves. Here it’s thick
sea mist, rust-red bracken, wild
mushrooms and, of course, the
first scented narcissi.
Seasonal change happens

sometimes, like this year, the
weather changes earlier and
there is a rush to the beach to
pull up boats. Autumn visitors
