    The university awards gold honor cords to graduates at three levels of GPA standing using the Latin honor system: cum laude, magna cum laude,
               and the highest level, summa cum laude. Graduates in Bethel’s Pietas Honors Program wear a medallion on a blue ribbon.
                                      The university awards navy and white cords to NCAA intercollegiate athletes.
             Graduates who belong to a national or international society may choose to wear these insignia: Members of Lambda Pi Eta,
     a communication honor society, wear crimson and silver cords. Members of Pi Sigma Alpha, a political science honor society, wear red, black,
