agreement with UNI (Union Network
International) in which each side agreed to
work jointly in favour of the respect of
fundamental rights according to the ILO's
international standards.

Carrefour promotes freedom of association
and social dialogue in all the countries it
operates, in its stores and its suppliers.

A draft revision of this agreement is
currently under discussion.

society

On 19 June 2012, Carrefour Spain joined the "Empresas por una
sociedad libre de la violencia de genero" initiative with the
Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality. In total, 33

the project so that women victims of gender violence are able to
carry on their lives through employment.
