Aboriginal and Torres
                                         Strait Islander Studies
                                         TAFE Queensland North is the only training facility in Queensland to have
                                         a faculty dedicated to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander studies.
                                         Over 20% of students enrolled at TAFE are Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander
                                         students.

International Marine
College
All your maritime training needs in one location.
One of the most comprehensively equipped training centres in the southern
hemisphere, Great Barrier Reef International Marine College (GBRIMC)
comprises a full mission bridge simulator and navigation labs, fire fighting and
damage control emergency response training simulator and a sea survival
training immersion pool, all of which are located on the one campus.
In addition, our training vessel provides innovative hands on training, taking
the classroom to sea.
Training courses on offer at GBRIMC lead to Australian and internationally
recognised certificates required to service on and operate all types of vessels.
