Danru Ferns playing Franchise cricket in New Zealand.

Education at St Andrew’s is designed to extend the boys

provincial and national teams. In 2014 the first Cricket team was

With good reason, the Saints’ cricketing community is hugely
excited about the development of the Lindsay Tuckett High
Performance Centre. Cricket at the school is very healthy, but this
development will provide us with a facility and technology that
has not yet been utilized in a school in South Africa.

St. Andrews were crowned 2018 national Coca-Cola Schools
T20 Champions. They attained this by six-wicket victory over
Hilton College at Tuks Oval in Pretoria.

College, and is set in picturesque surroundings with the Chapel
as a backdrop. In May 1950, the Kearsney Old Boys officially
opened the Memorial Cricket Pavilion in memory of those fallen
in battle.

Kearsney has a rich history of cricket and it is a very popular sport
amongst the 660 boys at the College. From humble beginnings,
the College now fields up to 23 cricket teams each week.

Grey High School has a rich cricketing tradition dating back to

the SA “A” team and on the International front we have Colin
Ackerman, who is the Leicestershire Captain and plays for the
Netherlands. Rusty Theron, who has played for SA, recently
made his T20 debut for the USA and Lutho Sipamla who is the
most recent Old Grey to represent the Proteas.

In the past year, within the Senior school alone, Graeme College                                                                          T20
had nine players receive their provincial colours. A further twelve
