Music Ministry Concert. This will be a collaboration between the 9 am
Sunday choir and the 11 am Folk group! Come listen and sing along with
us as we sing all of our favorite Christmas Carols- both traditional and
pop! Join us for delicious homemade Christmas Cookies and homemade hot apple cider in the choir
room afterwards!

Family Promise of San Joaquin
The Cathedral of the Annunciation is a Support Congregation for Family Promise of San Joaquin Co. Our com-
mitment as a support congregation is to provide the following:
We will provide a coordinator as a point of communication between our congregation and the director of
Family Promise of San Joaquin Co.
Our coordinator will attend or send a representative to the scheduled SJCFP coordinator's meetings. We will
provide volunteers on an “as needed” basis.
We understand that the coordinator and all volunteers must be trained by members of San Joaquin County
Family Promise to provide the proper understanding of the program and its expectations.
We will coordinate with the Host Congregation to which we have been paired by SJCFP to provide breakfast,
a sack lunch and evening meals-as needed approximately four times per year.
We will thoughtfully consider financial support to SJCFP and will do so whenever possible.

La Catedral de la Anunciacion es una Congregacion de Apoyo para Promesa Familiar del Condado de San
Joaquín. Como congregacion de apoyo proveeremos lo siguiente:
Proveeremos un coordinador como punto de comunicacion entre la congregacion y el Director de Promesa
Familiar del Condado de San Joaquín.
Nuestro coordinador asistira o enviara a un representante a las sesiones programadas por PFCSJ.
Proveeremos voluntarios cuando sea necesario.
Entendemos que el coordinador y todos los voluntarios tendran que ser entrenados por miembros de PFCSJ
para proveer el entendimiento adecuado del programa y sus expectaciones.

I thank everyone who contributed to 2019 Bishop’s Ministry Appeal (BMA). Through this effort, you
support the Diocesan Offices which then support the work of our parish ministries. This is the final
report. Our parish goal was $106,983.00. We are grateful to you all for helping us reach that goal!

Annunciation School: We Are One
School Advent Program
A special Christmas message of joy and love was shared with our Annunciation School family
and friends at the School Advent Program. Students joined together to celebrate the true
meaning of Christmas sharing the beloved Nativity story. Thank you to Miss Haley and Mrs.
Gonzales for directing the students in this beautiful Christmas production.
Annual Christmas Store
It was a magical shopping experience for our students at the Annunciation School Christmas Store. The
school auditorium was transformed into a festive Christmas boutique where students selected special
gifts for each of their family members, made their purchase and then had their gifts wrapped, ready to
share with their family on Christmas morning. Thank you to our school moms, dads, and grandparents
for making this event so special!
Open Enrollment
Open enrollment for new students, kindergarten through eighth grade, interested in attending Annunci-
ation School for the 2020-2021 school year, will begin Wednesday, January 8, 2020. Applications and
parent information packets will be available on the school website at annunciation-school.org or call the
office at 209-444-4000 for more information.
Christmas Break
Annunciation School will be closed for Christmas break Monday, December 23 through Friday, January
3. School will resume on Monday, January 6, 2020. May God’s love surround you and your family this
Christmas season and throughout the New Year.
Annual Crab Feed, Save the date
Join us for the Annunciation School Crab Feed on Saturday, January 25, 2020
inside the Annunciation Gymnasium. Tickets are $60 per person and may be
purchased on our school website at www.annunciation-school.org or contact our
school office at 209-444-4000.

Annunciation’s Vocation’s Ministry
The Traveling Chalice encourages parishioners to pray regularly for vocations to the priest-
hood and religious life. At the of Mass each weekend, a traveling chalice will be presented to
an individual or family who has volunteered to take the chalice home for a week and pray and
reflect on vocations. This family or individual would use it for daily prayer.

El Caliz Peregrino invita a los feligreses a orar regularmente por las vocaciones sacerdotales y la vida

Employment Opportunity: Household Cook
The Cathedral of the Annunciation is looking for a cook whose primary duties are to
prepare meals for the residents of the Rectory under the direction of the pastor.
Duties and responsibilities are:
Prepare weekly menu, shop weekly only for those items to be used during the week,
set the table prepare and serve the evening meal, clear the table following the dinner,
wash dirty dishes, pots and pans. As well as meal preparation for special events and
dinner parties. For inquiries, please call the parish house at (209) 463-1305.

Walk for Life West Coast
The 16th annual Walk for Life in San Francisco takes place on January 25, 2020.
Our friends at Presentation Church are again inviting our parishioners on their bus for only $10. You can
call to their parish at (209) 472-2150 starting on January 6 to reserve a seat. Organizer Kathy Chinchola
