     All students will be issued IPADs next school year

     Naviance App

     Expectation: Use Naviance for college process as
      well as receive notices and participate in surveys
      submitted by the Counseling office

     Counselors will meet with Seniors in groups and
      also individually regarding the college
      process. They will need their IPADs during the
      meetings.

 All juniors should have taken the TSI

 Reading, Writing & Math scores will be used for
  placement in College Prep Math & College Prep
  English for Senior Year

 Retesting for Juniors for TSI: week of May 24
      This testing is for juniors who received a letter telling them they were not
       college ready in either Math/Reading only

 Achieving College Ready scores will allow you to take
  Dual Credit your senior year

 Achieving College Ready scores ensures that you're
  ready for freshman level classes at college

 Only request a recommendation letter if your college
    requires one. Check on your college website or
    Naviance
 Request letter at least 2 weeks before due date and be
    specific about why you need it (admissions,
    scholarships) You may make requests in Naviance.
 Request letters from people who know you well
       Colleges prefer letters from Teachers vs Counselors
        unless your counselor knows you very well.

 Provide a senior brag sheet (resume) along with the
    request
