Admission requirements (US)
Level of study                       Program student
Undergraduate                        1. English Proficiency*
                                     2. 21 years of age or older
                                     Note: Applicants between the ages of 18-21 must have completed 1 year of
                                     University level studies in a program.
Graduate                             1.    English proficiency*
                                     2.    4-year Bachelor’s
                                     3.    A minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.0 out of 4.0 is required.**

IMPORTANT:
*By completing a high school diploma (at least four years) or a 4 year bachelor's degree in English, applicants will automatically prove English proficiency. An
English test will not be required in this case.
**Exception: The Diploma in Management-General does not require a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA).
Admission requirement: English Proficiency
• TOEFL IBT: Minimum score of 90 (minimum of 21 for each component)

• IELTS: Minimum score of 6.5 (minimum of 6.0 for each component)

• Duolingo: Minimum score of 115

Required documents to submit: April 15, 2021
1.   Application form:
     •   Used to determine your choice of program

2.   Permanent Code Data form:
     •   Used to create your permanent code, a unique identification code for you studies in Quebec;
     •   Should be sent with a copy of the information and photo pages of your passport.

3.   Consent form for Release of Official Document and Sharing o f Information:

     • Allows McGill SCS to discuss your file with your home institution;
Required documents to submit: April 15, 2021
4.   Copy of your most recent English Proficiency Test:

     • Used to validate the required level of English;
     • Must be valid at the time of admission (less than two years).

5.   Copies of all your transcripts and diplomas:

     • Used to assess your eligibility based on your previous university education;
     • For admission to graduate studies, is used to count the number of acquired credits and to
       assess your cumulative grade point average (CGPA).

This list is part of your registration package.
Official documents required:
Deadline to be confirmed by the Admissions team once all photocopies are reviewed.

 1.   Transcripts and Diplomas: Official documents must be sent directly to McGill
      University SCS.
      •   Option 1 by mail: Photocopies bearing a new signature and date, sent in a sealed
          and stamped envelope by the issuing institutions of the original documents;

      •   Option 2 by email: Electronic photocopies bearing a new signature and date by the
          issuing institutions of the original documents;

 2.   English test result: The result should be sent by the parent organization administering
      the test directly to McGill University SCS.
      Note: Your university cannot send us the official result even if it is an authorized center.
