KIDS AND THEIR PARENTS HAD A BLAST at the Willo Kids Club ‘Winter
Wonderland’ event which took place on January 12th. Even though
the sun was shining, we had fresh, real snow at Lewis Park! The kids
got to make snow angels, build snowmen, and throw snowballs. We all
enjoyed refreshments and hot chocolate. Thanks for joining us! ◆ We
are looking forward to one last event before the hot summer months
arrive. WKC will be sure to announce it in the next newsletter and send
evites. ◆ As always, to join our mailing list, or if you would like to help
plan the next event, email Sheryl Haarman at slhaarman@aol.com. ●

SOME OF THE LOVELIEST HOMES
in Willo are a mix of historical and modern
touches. A home with a meticulously
maintained living room with the original
wood floor might transition into a
modern kitchen with every innovation
and convenience. Wren House Brewing is
everything I like about those homes, just in
brewery form.
Wren House Brewing is located at 24th
Street and Monte Vista, just a ten-minute
drive from Willo. The tasting room is in
a house built in 1922. It’s fun to see how
they’ve built a tasting room and bar into the
old home; it includes unexpected nooks and
crannies in addition to the main room. They
were voted Best New Brewery through the

Street Medicine

Phoenix Street Medicine - Thank You!!
DEAR NEIGHBORS,
    Thank you!
Thank you for all your support and generous donations for the
Street Medicine Phoenix Project. Many neighbors were able to leave
supplies on our front porch when we were not home, and I was unable
to thank you personally. Thank you so very much!
We were able to collect an extraordinary amount of supplies that
were delivered in December and the organization has begun for
systematic distribution at many of the Street Runs starting in January.
Should you ever wish to donate again, please contact me, details
below, and I will be happy to coordinate with you.
Thank you again for your amazing investment in the Downtown
Phoenix Street Medicine Project!
Sincerely, Gretchen Bachman (150 W. Palm Lane) ●
