First world nations to third world countries. We are facing the same environmental epidemy – plastic pollution. As
convenient, durable, light and versatile, this 111-year-old invention takes up to 400 years to decompose and have impose
to affect the lives of people and living creatures for the next 16 generations to come. The excessive and irresponsible
consumption of plastics is impacting ocean health and biodiversity. Some research has reported that by 2050, there could
be more plastics in the ocean than fish if our current consumption habits are unchanged*.

8,000,000 tons of plastics are dumped in the ocean each year. China, Indonesia, Philippines and Vietnam are reported as
countries dumping the most plastic waste than any other region in the world from its shared river systems and waterways
as the conduits of this problem**. In Singapore, we consume about 1.76 billion kilograms of plastic items a year of plastic
waste is discarded every year but less than 20% of plastics are being recycled! ***

    On ADEX 2018 edition celebrating its 25th silver milestone, uw360° together with the congregation of
   esteemed ‘Friends of ADEX’ take on this opportunity of raising awareness about the polluting impacts of
 plastic packaging by taking a pledge to the refusal, reuse, reduce and recycle of single-use plastic products in

All stands must be maintained in a fully operational state until the closing of the show at 19:00 on 14 April 2019.
         * During set-up/break down times, access to Halls 401 - 405 is only through the loading/unloading bay.
         * Individual stand fitting contractors must complete their work according to schedule listed.
         * Permission must be sought for overtime work and required overtime charges may have to be
           paid. It is advised to work with the official contractor for special shell designs, as they have longer
           access to set-up/break-down times.

   2. EXHIBITOR BADGE

      Exhibitors will be identified by badges issued by the Organizer. Exhibitor badges will only be issued to the
      registered personnel according to the information provided to the Organizer. Exhibitors will receive a
      confirmation email which they will have to print out to collect the badges at the registration counter during set-
      up/move-in.
      Each 9sqm booth is entitled to 3 badges. Exhibitor badges are for use within the exhibition area across all 3 days,
      including additional networking functions. Additional badges can be purchased at $25 per extra badges.
      In addition, each booth will receive 10 entrance tickets to ADEX. These tickets are for distribution to exhibitor
      guests and allow access to the show for 1 day per ticket. These tickets can be collected along with the exhibitor
      badges during registration.

   3. CONTRACTOR BADGE FORM

      Exhibitors engaging third party contractors for their special design stands must register the contracting company
      and apply for access badges for on-site personnel.
      Exhibitors are to inform their assigned contractors to complete the online form. The assigned contractor will
      receive a confirmation email which they will have to print out to collect the badges at the registration counter
      during set-up/move-in. Contractors without badges will not be allowed into the Exhibition Hall.
