NEW YEAR’S CELEBRATION
Greet 2021 in paradise at our biggest party of the
year. Our December 31 bash will take place
along the expansive Las Ventanas beach. Magical
happenings throughout the evening will include
live music, dancing and dining under the stars,
and a spectacular five-minute fireworks display.
The party’s secret theme will be revealed to guests
with holiday reservations on December 1.

Fun with
Rosewood Explorers
At the complimentary Rosewood Explorers’
club, our youngest guests will enjoy a range of
locally inspired activities designed to spark
creativity. Traditions will be explored through
arts and crafts, from painting Mexican ceramics
and fanciful Alebrije folk art to decorating
gingerbread houses with our Pastry Chef,
piñatas and Yule logs. Little ones will adore
building sandcastles, making tacos, learning
magic with Sterling and belting out their
favorite songs in karaoke contests.

Sunset Bar
This winter, our iconic Sunset and Hookah Bar is back on the resort’s
picturesque white-sand beach. Situated by the Sea Grill and against the
stunning backdrop of the Sea of Cortez, the pop-up bar will be open each
evening, allowing you to unwind after a long day of sun-soaked activities.
Adding to the laid-back ambiance are luxurious, fluffy floor cushions and
an intimate bonfire decorating the beach view, creating the perfect spot
for cozying up with loved ones.

Once a week we invite you to learn the pre-Hispanic cooking technique of barbacoa. Join the resort’s specialty
Chef at 12:00 p.m. as he demonstrates the procedure of wrapping local organic lamb in agave leaves and placing
them in a heated underground barbacoa oven. This delicious concoction is covered, and cooks slowly for more
than seven hours, until the meat is succulent, tender and flavorful. Later, gather to enjoy an unforgettable
barbacoa dinner accompanied by traditional sauces and sides.

Craft your ultimate beachfront extravagance—a completely customizable
fireworks display set against the striking Los Cabos sky that you can launch
on-demand with the press of a button. Using a specially designed app, you
can either select a dazzling pre-designed show or opt to create their own
unique display by choosing options on the world’s first “firework menu,”
an extensive collection of pyrotechnic effects and illuminations that include
crackling tail comets, glittering roman candles, bursting mines and
mini-shells. Not only can you control the color, duration and effects of
your private fireworks show, you can also hand-pick accompanying music
to further personalize the spectacular event.
