CUI Fort Irwin Town Hall Directorate of Human Resources - Reassignments PCS MOVES – Early Report or Deferment Processing/Orders • Authority shall not be utilized to push assignments into IPPS-A Brown-Out-Cut-Over (BOCO) period of 11 August – 15 October 2022 PCS MOVES – Clearing • The clearing process starts 10 working days prior to the beginning of your PCS leave • Soldiers need approved leave form, including a control number in order to receive clearing papers via email • Soldiers requiring a Sponsor in order to get clearing papers, ALL 5 SECTIONS of DA Form 5434 must be completed • Final out date will be scheduled based upon on the start date of your approved DA 31. CUI Fort Irwin Town Hall Logistics Readiness Center Setting up a Household Good Move: • Upon receipt of orders create an application in Defense Personal Property System (DPS) on https://militaryonesource.mil. Instructions are on the web site. • You can come in for counseling. It is not required but available at Bldg 105,(Bottom Floor) Reception Campus. Duty hours are 0700-1600 closed for lunch 1200-1300. CUI Fort Irwin Town Hall Logistics Readiness Center Process Personally Procured Moves (PPM) • After creating your account on https://militaryonesource.mil you will be asked if this will be a PPM, answer “Yes” and complete application. • Counselors can assist with uploading documents. • You will receive confirmation that your request for PPM has been accepted. • Directions to post weigh scales are available at PPPO Bldg. 105. • Once request has been submitted you are required to go to the PPPO for completion of the Household Goods shipment to be submitted for processing. • LRC Transportation Video 7
CUI Fort Irwin Town Hall Housing Move-Out Process • Call Leasing Office (760) 386-4663, to schedule Notice to Vacate Appointment. • At Notice to Vacate appointment, we will schedule your Pre-Inspection & Final Inspection RECEIVED appointments. ORDERS • Appointment at your home to discuss what to expect at move out, what your responsibilities are, and answer questions. PRE- • Discuss cleaning options: Self Clean, Contract your own Vendor, or Pay and Go. Determine if INSPECTION Pet Deposit may be waived to use towards any pet damages and/or cleaning costs. • Any balance is due and payable immediately before we can sign your clearing papers. • All personal belongings and trash in trash bins/on curb must be removed to clear. FINAL • All charges are final at the move out inspection, no other charges will be sent to the resident INSPECTION after their move out inspection. ** Important Reminder: If the service member cannot be present, the spouse must have a Power of Attorney(POA). • Housing Move-Out Video 8
CUI Fort Irwin Town Hall Housing Orders to Fort Irwin Application Process – Sponsor Awareness • When you receive your Official orders to Fort Irwin, please give us a call at 760-386 HOME (4663) or you may visit our website https://www.villagesatfortirwin.com to download a housing application. We will place on the waitlist once you have sent us your application and orders. You may send those documents to villagesatirwin@tmo.com • Once you have signed out on leave from your current duty station (signed DA-31 in Box 14 A, B and C), please email your leasing specialist a copy. We will then forward you the list of available homes to select from, prior to your arrival. • You can visit our website for floorplans and video tours of home examples. • Depending on our housing availability, there may be a wait until you are able to move in, we suggest making lodging arrangements until we can move you into your new home. On-post lodging is available at Landmark Inn (760) 386-4040 or On-Base Suites (855) 879-7970. We also offer temporary unfurnished homes. • NOTE: Sponsor can view house for you or we can setup a video call to house prior to your arrival 9
