EXHIBIT ENTRIES, DELIVERY AND COLLECTION
1. FREE ENTRY
2. Exhibits are to be delivered to the Fruit & Veg Pavilion on the following days and times.
a. Tuesday 12th May between 8am to 6pm
b. Wednesday 13th May between 6.30am to 10am
3. EARLY ONLINE & ENTRY FORMS MAY BE SUBMITTED TO THE OFFICE BEFORE 4PM FRIDAY 24TH APRIL
a. Produce may be added or subtracted on day of delivery
4. To enter your exhibits ONLINE (SHOWDAY): www.showday.online

6. GST will apply if an Exhibitor enters an Exhibit as a Business entity, the Exhibitor has an ABN, and the Exhibitor is
REGISTERED for GST. Where GST applies, the Gympie Show Society will pay the prize money quoted in this
Schedule plus 10% GST and issue a recipient created tax invoice for prize money paid.
7. Please provide your ABN and GST registration details on the entry form if you are a Business entity.
GENERAL
1. ENTRY FORMS ARE TO BE COMPLETED & DELIVERED WITH FRUIT & VEGETABLES EXHIBIT.
2. Exhibits can only be entered in one class, except classes in Pumpkin & Gramma Sections.
3. ALL EXHIBITS MUST BE GROWN BY THE EXHIBITOR.
4. Exhibitors are not permitted to remove or sell fruit on the Show Grounds, prior to the Saturday Auction.
5. Plates & Dishes will be supplied where applicable for uniformity in Home Garden.
6. MOST POINTS: Classes are assessed as follows: 1st-4 points, 2nd-2 points.
JUDGING
1. Judging commences at 10.30am on Wednesday 13th May.
PRESENTATION OF TROPHIES
1. Saturday 16th May at 2pm in the W F Bishop Building.
2. Exhibitors, Sponsors, Judges & Stewards are cordially invited to this presentation.
AUCTION
1. All Fruit & Vegetables will be auctioned on Saturday 16th May at 3pm in the W F Bishop Building.
2. Exhibitors wishing to retain their exhibits must notify Stewards when delivering exhibits on Wednesday 13th
May. These exhibits may be collected from the Stewards on Saturday 16th May after 3pm.
PRIZE MONEY COLLECTION
1. Prize Money may be collected after the Trophy Presentation at the W.F. Bishop Building.
2. Prize Money not collected by 4pm Friday 26th June shall be deemed a donation to the Gympie District Show
Society Inc.

This is an opportunity to promote Gympie at its best with an eye-catching display and to support the local
community
Points are awarded on theme, quality of produce, value added products and overall presentation
Displays are judged by all 3 Judges

1. Depending on the number of supermarkets entering, produce a display (3 supermarkets) 2.4m high x
3.2m across or (4 supermarkets) 2.4m high x 2.4m across depicting the given theme
2. The design must consist of fresh fruit and/or vegetables with value added products (grocery items) in
plastic, bottles, or tins
3. It would be preferable if you could use products of Australia
4. Your supermarket brand named products can be used in the display
5. A backing board (1.2m high x 3.2m or 2.4m across) may be used for signs or banners
6. Hay, paper or any medium for filling spaces can be used
7. The erection of your display can begin on Tuesday 12th May 2019 from 8am until 6pm (after 6pm can
be arranged with a Steward)
8. Displays must be completed by Wednesday 13th at 10am
9. Display must be built and erected by members of your organization
