Monday 13 January 2020:

08h00:      Hostel boys must all arrive at Murray House between 08h00 - 14h00. The
            Murray House team will attend to the boys’ registration. All hostel boys must
            be at the Reunie Hall by 15h30.

13h00:      Waterpolo trials / training                                 (13h00 – 14h00)

14h00:      Cricket trials / training                                   (14h00 – 15h00)

15h30:      City boys must be at the Reunie Hall by 15h30.
                        The purpose of the orientation programme is explained.

                        2020 Prefects are introduced.

                        Attire (what to wear) during orientation week is explained.

                        Requirements and demands of the orientation are discussed.

18h00:      Welcome function for parents in the Reunie Hall followed by a braai on the
            Circle by the hostels. The school will provide fires and braai grids.

Tuesday 14 January 2020:

08h30:       Cricket trials / training                                     (08h30 – 09h30)

09h30:       Waterpolo trials / training                                   (09h30 – 10h30)

11h40:       All city boys to gather in front of the main building. Boys will be divided into
             two groups.

11h50:       Group 1:
             Boys are further divided into smaller groups to prepare for a campus tour,
             thereafter a study session.

             Boys are further divided into smaller groups to prepare for a study session,
             thereafter a campus tour.

15h45:       All groups gather in front of the main building.

15h50:       Final information concerning the first day of school is conveyed to the boys.

09h00:        All Grade 8s gather in front of the Pavilion for the remainder of the morning’s
              activities.
                           Boys are informed of the orientation programme.

*Please note that choir auditions are held throughout the week. However, boys who are
interested need to go for an audition ONLY ONCE. Time slots will appear on the notice board
at the music block – boys are required to write down their names in an available time slot.

              arrange their sleeping area.
