Concept and Project Brief
Loft Apartmnent

           The Brief
To design a Loft Style apartment in East London. Apartment is located on a 4th floor
of a 1930’s building which was once a warehouse and was converted into residential
apartments some time ago. They would like the apartment to have a comfortable, con-
temporary, modern city feel to it and the scheme to have sophistication, individuality and
           style.
The building is well located and the main living space has fantastic river views which can
also be appreciated from the small balcony accessed by French windows. However, the
apartment is looking “tired” and is in need of updating; the kitchen, living and dining
space needs re-designing and renovating before the clients can move in.

Concept
Drawing inspiration from the holiday trip, motion of the sun light breaking through the
water, smell of the sea breeze and vivid colours of Italian coastal road.
The room will be delicately divided into different zones by balanced use of subtle pallets
of forest colours.

Spacious kitchen continuing into the dining area is vibrant and fresh accented by aqua
colours, greenery and wavy forms and takes you to the summer coastal road. Sun light
pours through colourful Murano glass enhancing happy feeling in grey days.
Relaxing atmosphere is created by natural materials soft finishing, cushions and throws.

Design Development and Concept
Periodic Farm House

                                     Brief
The property is a Grade 2 listed detached
                                     Regency farmhouse, originally built around
1820 and sitting in 45 acres of orchards,
                                     grassland, parkland, lakes and woodland.
Their style preferences could be described
as elegant and serene with a little bit of
glamour. Client loves the period features of
the house however they are open to mixing
period details and furniture, with more con-
                                     temporary items.
                                     Concept
The concept was used like a mood board to
create a sanctuary to escape the busy life
and embrace the Regent style. The idea was
to create relaxing atmosphere by using soft
materials, earthy colours and warm light.

Joinery Details

           Brief
Client has asked to create a detailed design for the wall between the informal kitch-
en-diner and the small home-cinema room. The design must include the following
           components:
           • A flue-less fire on the dining room side.
           • A recessed T V with integrated A V (the digital T V hub)
           on the cinema room side
           • Integrated accent lighting behind the T V

                   Design Development
                Project Brief
I took a part in the group project that we designed for
Imperial Trust NHS. Client would like us to design
a place for stuff where they can relax and enjoy the
                break from work.
When we listened to the staff of Imperial Trust a
key theme that was raised again and again was ‘to-
getherness”. This space has to be communal. It has
to make it easy for staff to meet, whether that’s
for lunch, to discuss their patients or to celebrate a
                birthday.
It also has to be intimate. It must allow for downtime
in those moments when all you want to do after a hard
shift is flop onto a sofa and not talk to anyone.
It has to be practical and efficient. No queues, no
                clutter.

                Concept
Hive. The idea we propose to foster a sense of‘to-
getherness’ in the spaces at Charing Cross and
Hammersmith is that of a hive.
CREATE

     Design Development
We explored using shapes that would allow us to create lots of seating that is both
open and closed, to provide privacy as well as a space to be together. To give the
space a feeling of gentle movement we used the shape of the flight path of the bee
to create the shape of the partitions between the seats. We added a ‘wave’ ef-
fect to the top of the partitions to further evoke this feeling of movement.

                                   Brief
St George Development is a modern lux-
ury apartments built in a heart of London
                                   - Chelsea harbour. The goal is to design 2
show apartments for the developer consid-
ering on how living, both privately and pub-
licly has transformed in recent years and
is expected to change further in light of the
                                   current world situation with pandemic.

                                   Concept

New Luxury. With all sad realities that
Covid 19 brought to our lives, the positive
impact has also been done. We couldn’t
imagine possibility of spending more time
with family by simply having an office at the
house. We forgot that we can invite friends
and talk to them instead of sitting hours in
social media. We spent many hours be-
ing alone and a lot of people got potentially
great life-changing ideas. Presence in the
                                   moment. Relaxation. Meditation and mind-
fulness. New luxury is opportunity to be
above the physical level and archive a com-
fort within your own mind within your own
                                   home.

                                   Oyster

By the 20th century, the over-harvesting
of oysters in the US and Europe was no-
ticeable and it was difficult to maintain the
oyster stock needed to meet hight demand.
And once again, oysters have become a
relatively expensive food item and it quickly
lost its position in the working class’s life.
                                   - Hard shell - protective boundaries. Pro-
tect your home. Protect your investments
                                   - Unique colours of pearl - rare and lux-
ury. Natural and soft Pearl - centrepiece.
