Vision statement
All students at PLSS will learn the literacy, numeracy, communication and
social skills required for them to achieve their aspirations and increase their
levels of independence post school
They will set, achieve and celebrate successes in inclusive classrooms where
educators differentiate and engage them in learning tasks alongside their
peers. They will participate in highly structured, targeted learning programs led
by quality educators.
Educators will lead the development of appropriate learning plan goals in line
with the Australian Curriculum. They will identify the necessary NCCD levels of
adjustment each student needs to achieve their learning goals, collaborating
with students, families and support staff both within the Department and outside
of it, to design appropriate learning programs.
Educators will constantly review their practice and collaborate with other
educators to develop their skills and knowledge, ensuring student learning
outcomes are achieved.

How to complete this template
• Complete every step. The Quality School Improvement Planning Handbook explains how to do this. In addition, your education director will provide support.

• Complete steps 1 to 3 during term 4 of 2018 and have it approved by the principal, governing council chairperson, and education director.

• Email this plan (steps 1 to 3) to your education director.

• Publish your school improvement plan on your school website.
