It gives us great privilege and honour to invite you all for the 34th Annual National Conference of the Indian Society for Study of Pain, ISSPCON 2019 scheduled to take place from the 1st February – 3rd February 2019 at NIMHANS Convention Centre in Bengaluru. The eld of pain management in our country is seeing a signicant growth and the theme of this event 'Going Beyond the Alpha and Omega of Pain' aims to deliver the right scientic content and message to all attendees. The rich experience and knowledge of the experts from across our country and the world will be shared during the conference. The pre-conference day will feature multiple hands on workshops including a cadaveric workshop in an advanced cadaveric learning centre. The scientic sessions will cover all aspects of the eld of pain management, keeping in line with the theme of our conference and the trade exhibits will showcase the latest technology from the eld of pain medicine. This event will provide a wonderful opportunity for postgraduate students and junior pain physicians to present their research activities. ISSP Karnataka Chapter takes great pleasure to host this conference once again in Bengaluru. The local organizing committee, under the valuable guidance of our Chairman, Vice-Chairman and Advisors, has been very active and arrangements are well under way to ensure that the 34th ISSPCON is a resounding success. Registration fee is not transferable to any other attendee or meeting.
Registration is conrmed only after the receipt of full payment.
Conference registration is mandatory for registering to Pre-Conference
Workshop.
Registration fee will be based on the date of receipt of payment.
Registration fee includes access to scientic sessions & trade exhibition,
conference lunches & inaugural dinner & the conference kit.
Conference kit will be distributed to the pre-registered delegates at the
time of registration. Conference kits for delegates registered on-spot will
be on the availability of stocks and on rst come rst serve basis.
Charges incurred for bank transfer, Cheque / DD, Credit card payments
to be borne by the payee itself.

Local Attractions
Nandi Hills or Nandidurg is an ancient hill fortress of southern India, in the
Chikkaballapur district of Karnataka state. Nandi Hills was called Ananda
Giri meaning The Hill of Happiness. Nandi is also commonly called
. Nandidurga (Fort) because of the fort built here by the ruler Tippu Sultan. It is
also perhaps called Nandi Hills because the hill resembles a sleeping bull.
Lal Bagh meaning The Red Garden in English is a well-known botanical
garden in southern Bangalore, India. The garden was originally
commissioned by Hyder Ali, the ruler of Mysore, and later completed by his
son Tipu Sultan. It has a famous glass house which hosts an annual ower
show. Lal Bagh houses India's largest collection of tropical plants, has an
aquarium and a lake, and is one of the main tourist attractions in
Bangalore.
Around Bangalore (Bengaluru)
The Mysore Palace is one of the important sights in Mysore. Built in Indo-
Saracenic style with domes, turrets, arches and colonnades, the Palace is a
treasure house of exquisite carvings and works of art from all over the world.
The majestic Durbar Hall has an ornate ceiling and many sculpted pillars.
The magnicent jewel studded golden throne of the Wodeyars is displayed
here during the Dasera festival.
Barachukki and Gaganachukki are two waterfalls situated near the island
town of Shivanasamudra in the Mandya district of Karnataka.
The waterfalls are created by river Cauvery that runs down a 75 metre
gorge before it divides into two branches that ow around the island of
Shivanasamudra. The two branches (eastern & western branches) ow
through deep ravines on either side of the island before plunging in two
different places a few kilometres apart to form the Barachukki and
Gaganachukki waterfalls.Venue
