Greenwich Suzuki Community,

It's auction time!! I feel so blessed to be a part of this amazing and generous

community, and already the donated items to support the Friends of Greenwich Suzuki

fund are a perfect reflection of this. The way we Suzuki families have been supporting

each other during these crazy times has been a lifeline for the students, parents, and

teachers, and now we are asking for your continued generosity. This auction is a

fundraiser to help us better reach the needs of our community. We are trying to make

up for lost fundraising opportunities during the pandemic, and greater need with our

existing families, and we need your support. If you are in a position to help, bid high

Suzuki Institutes are incredibly fun, motivating, and general life-affirming

experiences for Suzuki families! We have all been missing in-person

Our own Ms. Natalie Coots co-directs this institute and it will be an

Handmade Lap-Sized Quilt

                        By Heather Watson Hardie

I am calling this quilt the “Dream Vacation Quilt”! The pieced side is made from

designer fabric by the Kaffee Fosset "Free Spirit" Collection and it reminded me of

various ideal vacation spots. The back is from fabric I have adored for years but have

been storing for something special. Quilts and sewing have long been special to me

and giving them as gifts to others gives me a lot of joy. I imagine this bright and

cheerful quilt bringing color and warmth to someone in the midst of a dreary day. The

fabric is gorgeous and very high quality. (Measurements: 66X48.5 inches)
