2021 event overview
The LAGOS ARCHITECTS FORUM 2021 organized by the Nigerian Institute of Architects, Lagos State Chapter will hold from
Wednesday 5th – Saturday 8th May 2021, at the Jasmine and Zinnia Halls, Expo Centre of the Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island,
Lagos.
The 2021 edition is tagged “LAGOS 12.0 – THE CITY OF LAGOS ; THE NEXT TWENTY FIVE YEARS”, is specifically targeted
at renewing urban development processes and systems in which built environment endeavours are being conducted in the light
of present day realities. It will devise new ways of running practices, stakeholders benefits engagement and adaptation to local
economies and ideologies. It will also highlight contemporary issues including The Matrix of Relevance, Value and Positioning
for Architecture, Urban Regeneration and New Opportunities, Succession Planning, Architecture and Social Advocacy, Global
Outlook of Recession and The Business of Building, Rethinking going Global, New Directions for Building Materials Technology,
The Changing Roles of the Internet and a host of others. There will be live Case studies of Successful Business Models, Projects
and Thought Leadership as well as interaction with renowned scholars.
The 3-day event is an increasingly popular International Conference, which provides all participants and partners excellent
opportunities to meet with the various key players and stakeholders in the Construction Industry. During LAF 2021, discussants
and participants will have several opportunities to interact and establish bi-lateral ties as well as follow-on contacts with affiliated
companies, service providers, manufacturers, corporate bodies, prospective end-users, clients and other relevant stakeholders.
Several activities will be lined up for this event which include educational / professional development sessions and Post-
Conference Site Tours. Workshop and conference participants will have the opportunity to learn theoretically and practically
from local and international experts in the industry. For the umpteenth time, the LAF 2021 edition will deploy portal technologies
that will provide an opportunity for pre-registered participants to organize one-on-one meetings with each other, either on site or
off site to foster business ties.
This year marks the 11th Edition of the increasingly popular International Conference and the 3-day event, which is the eleventh
in series, will provide all participants and partners excellent opportunities to meet with the various key players and stakeholder
in the Construction Industry. The Lagos Architects Forum 2021 will provide a number of unique opportunities for Corporate
Bodies and organization to promote their products and services that relate to the Construction Industry. These include Product
Launches, Display of Products and Services, Exhibitions of Architects Works, Workshops, Seminars, Advertisement, Partnership
Opportunities, Post Conference Site Tours, etc. It is expected to be an unbeatable investment of time and resources.

2021 terms & conditions
1. Registration Forms must be completed and returned to the Organizers not later than Friday 23th April 2021.
Applications can only be processed after the form has been received with all payments. Any submission after this
date will render the opportunity for complimentary Products Listing null and void.
2. The Organizers reserve the right to close registration for this exhibition before the closing date if the Exhibition Spaces
become fully subscribed, and/or to refuse bookings without stating reasons for refusal.
3. Misuse or damage of facilities is chargeable. Any such damages will be surcharged to the Exhibitor by Eko Hotels &
Suites.
4. The Organizers reserve the right to re-allocate booking to other Exhibitors if payment is not made in accordance with
the stated payment terms.
5. Cancellation Policy: Withdrawal of application for Exhibition Space attracts a penalty charge in accordance with the
following scale:
· 50% of total space fee from 1st – 18th April 2021.
· 100% of total space fee after 18th April 2021.
6. Subletting the Exhibition Space is prohibited.
7. Only goods listed in the Registrations Form may be exhibited. Goods must not be removed from the exhibition
stands until after the Exhibition without the consent of the Organizers.
8. All instructions issued by the Organizers must be strictly complied with.
9. Organizers will ensure security of Exhibition Hall from the start of the assembly period to the end of dismantling
period; but will not accept responsibility for exhibited goods, equipment or property for any third party. Exhibitors
should meet all their necessary insurance costs.
10. Removal of goods, equipment or property by any unauthorized personnel is not permitted.
11. Security personnel retained by Organizers reserve the right to query suspicious person(s), to screen any visitor
entering the venue and to eject all suspected dubious characters for the safety of lives and property at the exhibition
arena.
12. Exhibitors may make every necessary arrangement to safeguard their valuables; however private security personnel
must be restricted to the Exhibitor's Stand and will be allowed only after due clearance by the Organizers. Such
private security personnel will be subject to the direction of the official security personnel at all times.
13. Display of brochures, posters, banners and all other advert material is restricted to only the Exhibitor's space. Display
of these materials on aisles or around the Venue is strictly prohibited, according to Health, Safety & Environment
(HSE) requirement.
14. Building, painting, spraying, welding, nailing, cutting and/or any other construction work inside the Exhibition Hall
is strictly prohibited. Please refer to Clause 3 where defaulters will be liable in the event of any form of damage that
may occur.
15. Permanent structures within the Exhibition Hall are prohibited. No solid construction of Stands is allowed.
16. Nailing, cementing and other activities that may cause damage or structural changes to premises are prohibited.
Hence, Exhibitors are advised to make use of the pre-fabricated stands and display equipment as provided by Eko
Hotels & Suites.
17. For customized Stands, materials to be used for the booth must meet the Organizers' specifications and will be
supervised, inspected and approved before installation. Exhibition stands shall be demarcated with demountable
materials only.
18. Exhibitors will pay for extra lighting, wiring or socket connections.
19. All Stands and display must be completed latest by 11.00p.m. on Tuesday 4th May 2021. There will be a penalty for
late set up. Defaulters will not be allowed to display their products until after 6.00pm on Wednesday 5th May 2021.
No refund for any lost day due to non-compliance.
20. All Stands must be dismantled and removed from the premises latest by 11.00p.m. on Friday 7th May 2021. There
will be a penalty of N500,000.00 (Five Hundred Thousand Naira Only) daily for late the removal as surcharged by Eko
Hotels & Suites.
21. Exhibitors are responsible for arranging for their own transport, packing, assembly, dismantling and removal of
goods, equipment, property and decorations. The Exhibitors spaces are to be clearly marked with demountable
signage with their name and stand number.
22. Display of products shall conform to specifications.
23. All Exhibition modules shall be a minimum of 9m2. Stands shall be in multiples of this module.
