Pro-Vice Chairman
Dear Parents,
Delhi Public School Nashik comes with a very
illustrious lineage of The Delhi Public School
Society. The DPS Chain not only has a
pan-Indian presence, but it has also
established citadels of learning about several
foreign shores. What started as a small school in
1949 has grown into a chain that has over 200
schools in India and abroad.
Delhi Public School Nashik is promoted by the Kush Green Educational Society.
The promoters of DPS Nashik have a very successful legacy in the K-12 sector.
They are part of a group that is running DPS in Varanasi for the past 12 years.
The Group also manages a Business School in New Delhi.
Established about seven years ago, DPS Nashik has been able to ensure that
excellence is the hallmark of a progressive school. We have the best faculty
possible that has developed its unique pedagogical system which addresses
each facet of school life. Much stress is laid on nurturing global citizens who
are not just academically brilliant but also sensitive to societal responsibilities.
Our students are encouraged to develop a keen sense of appreciation and
pride in Indian culture, heritage, and environment. DPS Nashik provides a
holistic learning experience that encompasses an eclectic balance between
the scholastic and co-scholastic curriculum. The school is in step with
changing times and is using technology with ease and aplomb. The
environment of the campus is such that each student feels empowered and
engaged rather than constricted to the confines of a classroom.
I am sure you too would like your children to become a part of this temple of
excellence and I look forward to welcoming them to DPS
Nashik. The following pages will tell you in detail about
DPS Nashik. I would like to take the opportunity
to thank you for the keen interest that you
have shown in DPS.
Mr. Gautam Rajgarhia

these solely by the commitment and enthusiasm of students, staff, and

It is based on the principle that education must develop not only cognitive skills - both ‘foundational skills’ of literacy and numeracy and ‘higher-order’ cognitive skills such as problem-solving – but also social and emotional skills - the ‘soft skills’ that include cultural awareness and empathy, perseverance and grit, teamwork, leadership, communication, among others. Our teachers promote cross-cultural understanding and differentiate instruction to meet students’ varying needs, abilities, and learning styles. We provide a balanced education program within a safe, stimulating environment so that each child can learn and grow to the greatest potential. Delhi Public School ensures social, emotional, and physical development transforming each child into a confident, inquisitive, self-motivated learner; a global citizen capable of rational thought and action, possessing compassion and empathy, courage and resilience, scientific temper, and creative imagination, with sound ethical moorings and values.

CURRICULUM
Adaptability is a key competency in a rapidly changing world. We, at DPS,
follow a curriculum where students learn via multiple media as well as
face-to-face. We combine online educational materials and opportunities for
interaction online with traditional classroom methods.
Experiential student-centric learning is our methodology. Project-Based
Learning, our instructional methodology, encourages students to learn by
applying knowledge and skills through engaging experiences. PBL presents
opportunities for deeper learning in-context and for the development of
important skills tied to college and career readiness.
The key overall thrust of our curriculum and pedagogy across all stages is to
move towards real understanding and learning how to learn - and away from
the culture of rote learning. Our goal is to create holistic and well-rounded
individuals equipped with key 21st-century skills.
