BRIGHT.
We’ve had a frustrating couple of weeks; firstly with the result against Gillingham
and then with last Sunday’s postponement against Chichester – the second time
that fixture has been postponed this season.
We went into the Gillingham game off the back Our next block of games throws up three cup
of an improved performance away at Ipswich fixtures; in the League Cup, FA Cup and County
and a good week of training, which had given us Cup, with two of the teams being brand new
a renewed focus and togetherness. We started opponents to us. Cup fixtures always present
well and controlled large portions of the game, a different challenge and bring a little magic to

than we had for a number of games. Frustratingly and are looking forward to testing ourselves in all

CLUB L ATEST Last Time Out
With last weekends fixture away to
Chichester & Selsey postponed for a
water logged pitch, the defeat at home
to Gillingham was the last time the Dons
played. With recent success in this cup
competition, the Dons hope to reach
the second round of the cup for the
successive time.
The Opposition – Cambridge City
Today we welcome Cambridge City Ladies to
Stadium MK. The Cambridgeshire team sit 7th in
the National League Division 1 South East with
three wins coming from their opening 10 games.
Last weekend saw them lose a thriller 4-3 away to
Enfield Town. Shannon Shaw and Grace Stanley
lead the way with an impressive 18 goals between
